Ugandan signing Erisa Ssekisambu has promised to deliver more trophies for Gor Mahia.

The former Vipers SC striker has termed as a dream come true to finally turn out for the Kenyan champions and has vowed to repay the club with a good show. He has also signed out striker Michael Olunga has among the players, who inspired him to play for K’Ogalo.

“This is a club that has produced big strikers in the continent like Michael Olunga and many others, so I also want to build my legacy from here just like them. It has always been my dream to play for the mighty Gor Mahia. I am ready to fight for a place in the squad even though I know I will face stiff opposition from the likes of Jacques Tuyisenge.”

On Monday, Gor Mahia unveiled new eight players during a ceremony held at a hotel in Nairobi. The eight are Erick Ombija a midfielder from Kenyatta University, young striker Erick Ogendo, who has been promoted from the youth team, after he played for Coast Stima in 2018.

Left-back Geoffrey Ochieng joined Gor Mahia from Western Stima while striker Nicholas Kipkirui was signed from Zoo FC. Kenneth Muguna rejoined the club from FK Tirana while Pascal Ogweno signed from Kariobangi Sharks.

Gor Mahia new signings are; Erick Castro Ombija (KU), Erick Ogendo (Gor Youth), Erisa Ssekisambu (Vipers), Geoffrey Ochieng (Western Stima), Shafik Batambuze (Singida United), Kenneth Muguna (FK Tirana), Nicholas Kipkirui (Zoo FC) and Pascal Ogweno (Kariobangi Sharks).
