Nigeria U20 - Falconets in Polokwane
Having failed to subdue Die Nationalelf twice in the tournament's final, the Falconets have been handed a chance to avenge those heartbreaking losses

Nigeria will confront Germany, China and Haiti in Group D of the 2018 Fifa Women's World Cup.

The draw ceremony held at the Opera House, Rennes on Thursday, saw the African representatives faced with tough opening contests in the age grade women's competition.

Ghana, making their fourth appearance in the women’s youth tournament, will trade tackles with hosts France, New Zealand and the Netherlands in Group A.

Group B is filled with Korea DPR, England, Mexico and Brazil, while Group C is led by Spain alongside USA, Japan and Paraguay.

Christopher Danjuma's side will begin their bid for glory against Germany in Saint-Malo on August 6 while Ghana will kick off early against hosts France in Vannes on August 5.

The Falconets will seize the chance to avenge their final defeats to Germany in the 2010 and 2014 editions when both meet at the Stade Marville.
