The green and gold will back up on Tuesday with two new faces

Robbie Kruse and Tom Rogic have been left out of an updated Socceroos squad to face Lebanon on Tuesday in Sydney with Craig Goodwin and Rhyan Grant replacing them.

Goodwin and Grant were originally included as train-on players for the game against the Korea Republic and have done enough to earn a place in Graham Arnold's updated 24-man squad.

Kruse and Rogic both started against Korea Republic and have been left out of the latest squad to nurse minor injuries.

"There is a short turnaround to Tuesday's match against Lebanon so Tom and Robbie, who both performed well on Saturday evening but have minor knee and groin injuries respectively, won't be risked," Arnold said.

Also coming in is retired Socceroo Tim Cahill, who will come on late in the game as he gets a fitting farewell from international football.

Goodwin has been in red-hot form since returning to Adelaide United and last played for the Socceroos in 2016.

Grant on the other hand is on the cusp of becoming the 600th Socceroo having never pulled on the green and gold at senior level.
