Tom Rogic's Socceroos availability hopes boosted ahead of Palestine clash

The green and gold playmaker looks to be available for the crunch group stage match

Socceroos midfielder Tom Rogic got through a full training session at the team's training base in Dubai signalling his likely selection for the squad to take on Palestine in Friday's (AEDT) Asian Cup clash.

The 26-year-old broke his hand in the first half of the team's 1-0 defeat against Jordan but played out the full match with the injury.

While Rogic's fitness status hasn't been confirmed officially by the Socceroos, his performance at training means he should be available for at least a spot on the bench.

The Celtic playmaker's performance against Jordan was subject to strong criticism from pundits and fans after struggling to have a positive impact on the game.
