The Best Fifa Awards 2017: Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar - Who did India vote for?

The Indian national team coach Stephen Constantine voted for three players who did not finish among the top three at The Best FIFA Football Awards.

In fact, skipper Sunil Chhetri too saw only one of his picks make the cut into the top three.

From each country, the national team managers, captains and members of the media are eligible to vote for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2017, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane coming out on top at the ceremony, held in London on Monday, as the best player and coach respectively.

The Bengaluru FC forward’s first choice was Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi being the second and third choices.

Constantine's top pick was Borussia Dortmund’s Aubameyang Pierre-Emerick followed by Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos.

Interestingly, it was Dhiman Sarkar, a senior journalist from Kolkata, who got both his picks spot on as he voted for Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane for the best player and coach awards respectively.
