AFC Leopards roared to a 2-0 win over KCB in a pre-season friendly played on Saturday.

New striker from Zimbabwe Michelle Katsavairo scored his first goal for the club, adding to the opener fired in by Jaffery Awiti for the win against the bankers. AFC Leopards coach Nikola Kavazovic used the match to gauge his charges ahead of the new season.

He fielded two different sides in both halves but the most impressive part is the goal from the former Kaizer Chiefs striker Katsavairo. “He was in good form and the reason why I have asked the club to give him a contract. We want a striker, who can score goals and he looks ready to play that role for this club,” said the Serbian coach after the match.

It was a second friendly for AFC Leopards, who drew 1-1 with Wazito FC. Ingwe will start their league campaign against Kariobangi Sharks on December 8.
