Simba set to announce Hubert Velud as new Head Coach

Velud has a great resume coaching the continent's biggest clubs

Simba Sport Club are set to announce French man Hubert Velud, as the new Head Coach to replace Joseph Omog, Goal can exclusively reveal.

Simba team Manager, Onesmo Kapinga told Goal that talks between the coach and the club’s majority shareholder Mohamed Dewji ‘MO’ are going well and it’s only a matter of time before the deal is completed and the new coach unveiled.

"The new coach has been brought by Dewji, and he arrived yesterday. They have been in negotiations which are going well, that's why we hope that until tomorrow the deal will be done," said Kapinga.

The 58-year-old Velud has a great resume coaching the continent's biggest clubs in Africa and being successful at it, the clubs coached previously by Velud includes DRC's TP Mazembe, Etoil de Tunis, USM Alger and ES Setif.
