Paul Onuachu, Dame N'Doye on target as Midtjylland ease past Copenhagen

Paul Onuachu and Dame N'Doye found the back of the net in Midtjylland’s 3-1 victory over Copenhagen in Sunday’s Danish Superliga outing.

After losing to Malmo FF in a Europa League game and drawing against Brøndby, the Wolves return to winning ways against Stale Solbakken’s men.

Jakob Poulsen got the opener for Jess Thorup’s side from the penalty spot in the 15th minute.

Onuachu then increased the lead in the 61st minute after benefitting from Awer Mabil’s assist but N'Doye halved the deficit 13 minutes later for the Telia Parken’s outfit.

Marc Dal Hende sealed the victory in the 83rd minute as Midtjylland clinched their fifth league triumph of the season.

Despite the win, they remain in the second spot with 18 points from nine games, one point behind leaders Copenhagen.

Both players will hope to continue the impressive form in front of goal when Midtjylland take on SønderjyskE and Koebenhavn try Nordsjælland for size in their next league games on September 23.
