Okwemba relishing chance to face AFC Leopards again

Charles Okwemba is once again coming heads on with former side AFC Leopards in a Kenyan Premier League match on Wednesday.

The Sofapaka man has been in a fine form this season and he is the reason why the team has been performing well offensively. Okwemba acknowledges he comes into the match with mixed feelings but he has to do his job against the thirteen times league champions.

"Yes, it is my former side, I spent many years there and had some good moments with them. However, it is the past, despite having a soft spot for them, I have a duty here at Sofapaka and I want to effectively do my job. It is going to be an exciting game, but I hope we will emerge victorious," Okwemba told Goal on Tuesday.

"Both teams have started the season quite well, and that makes Wednesday's match even more tough. But the team that takes its chances will carry the day."

The match will be played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
