The former Falconets star has teamed up with the Spanish women’s topflight side to strengthen Antonio Toledo’s squad

Joy Bokiri has joined Spanish women’s topflight side Sporting de Huelva from Greek side Elpides Karditsas.

The 19-year-old who represented Nigeria at the 2016 Fifa U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea will be hoping for a second spell in European football after her move from Bayelsa Queens.

She becomes El Conquero’s second signing this term - thus becoming the third African in Antonio Toledo’s squad after Zimbabwe's Rutendo Makore and Cameroon's Genevieve Ngo.

Sporting de Huelva are currently placed ninth on the log with 21 points after 19 games.

They face 11th placed Espanyol on Sunday at Ciutat Esportiva Dani with the midfielder expected to make her debut.
