Real Oviedo and former Harambee Stars midfielder, McDonald Mariga cooled down during his Christmas holiday with a visit to the Children’s home in the coastal town of Malindi.
Mariga who secured a move to the Spanish second division side, Real Oviedo last July, donated foodstuff at one of the Children’s home as part of his CSR activities.
“Visited Hearts Children’s Home in Malindi earlier today and spent some lovely time with amazing kids there,” the former Inter Milan Parma and Real Sociedad midfielder posted the message on his official Twitter account.
Mariga who also played for Pipeline and Tusker in the domestic league signed a one year deal with Real Oviedo on August 2, 2017.
The central midfielder has made seven appearances for his new club since his debut in a 1-1 draw against Almeria on August 26 in the Spanish Segunda division.
