Mathare United summon new signings for Vihiga United test

Mathare United latest signing, Robert Mboya has been included in the match-day squad that will take on host Vihiga United in the opening match of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League.

Francis Kimanzi narrowly survived relegation last season and he will kick off the campaign with a tricky opening fixture against newly promoted and National Super League winners away in Kakamega.

Kimanzi summoned five of his new signings including Johnstone Omurwa, Gilbert Osonga, Francis Omondi and Clifford Alwanga for the Kakamega trip.

The match, that is set to kick off at 3.00 PM at Bukhungu Stadium, will be among the three fixtures of the day. 

Other Sunday fixtures are a home match for Sofapaka against Bandari at Nakok Stadium with Thika United hosting Kakamega Homeboyz at Thika Sub-County Stadium.
