Mamelodi Sundowns could sacrifice Fares Hachi to free up foreign space

With Brockie signing for Masandawana and Sirino on his way to Chloorkop, the Tshwane giants may look to offload the Algerian full-back this month

Following recent reports that Yannick Zakri would be heading to Ajax Cape Town in order to make way for new signing Jeremy Brockie, reports doing the rounds suggest that another one of Mamelodi Sundowns' foreign contingent could also be loaned out.

Media reports in Bolivia revealed on Monday that South American winger Gaston Sirino would be joining Sundowns, but with all five of Sundowns’ foreign quota taken up, it appears that Sundowns will need to either part ways or loan out some of their foreign players in order to accommodate for the Uruguayan should the move materialize.

Fares Hachi is now linked with a possible loan move to SuperSport United, who are reportedly looking to beef up the left-hand side of their defence.

Furthermore, it is being reported that the Algerian’s loan deal could form part of Brockie’s recent sale, but while the deal is yet to be finalised, indications are that it could be struck some time this week.

Hachi signed for Sundowns at the beginning of 2017, and while he has impressed, he has failed to dislodge Tebogo Langerman for a starting berth, leading to much speculation in the past regarding his future.
