On Sunday, the People's Elephants were undone by a Musa Newman's goal which saw them cease dominance of the Uyo side after two years.
The result saw Gbenga Ogunbote's men drop to seventh place in the log from the third occupied before the Nigeria Professional Football League Matchday 27 encounters.
But the defender is confident the loss would enable them increase their efforts in a bid to achieve their set goals.
"It's a game anybody can win anybody can lose. It wasn’t our expectation so we lost 1-0," Anaemena told Goal.
"The fact that we dropped points hasn’t demoralised us, It will even give us a boost because we are working towards securing the league title and a continental slot. So the game is not over yet; we still have series of matches to play and play better. So our expectations are still high.
"They got their chance and they utilised it; when we got ours we couldn’t convert and the game ended 1-0.
"We are still motivating ourselves, trying to work harder to bring a good result and I believe by God's grace we'd find our way back to the top," he concluded.
