Liberty Professionals coach Reginald Asante has assured supporters of a better campaign amid a slow debut season in the Ghana Premier League.

On Wednesday, the Dansoman-based club picked a crucial away point against city rivals Hearts of Oak to extend their run without a defeat to two games.

However, they did not record any win in their last five games.

''It was a good game against Hearts and we're satisfied with the one point we picked. We have a difficult season so far but I believe we can start all over again from this point," Asante told Asempa FM.

"I strongly believe things will turn around for us. We'll begin to win games very soon and then push up on the log. The supporters will have something to smile about since it will be consistent before the second round kicks off," he added.

Asante also revealed that he is working on his forwards in order to adequately convert goal chances that come their way.

''I’m trying to put the strikers in shape and remember I was once a striker so I can help them out. We are working hard on our goal scoring problem," he said.

''We do extra forty-five minutes session on goal scoring after every training. Things will get better with time and I think we have to beef up the squad in the second window,'' he added.

Liberty sit one place above the drop zone with nine points, and will lock horns with sensational newcomers Karela United FC at the Carl Reindorf Park on Saturday.
