National Super League side Police FC will be playing AFC Leopards this weekend in the Shield Cup.

Police defeated Leysa 4-3 on post-match penalties to set a date with Ingwe who had eliminated Mwatate 2-1.

Speaking ahead of the match, Police head coach Charles 'Korea' Omondi is optimistic his side can have their way and qualify for the semi-finals.

"This is a competition and a knock out for that matter meaning any team can go through.

"Leopards are the favourites, that we understand, but it does not mean we do not have a chance. We are going to give our best and ensure we take our chances.

"Our aim is to progress to the next stage, and we know we can do it, it is all about having a positive attitude."
