The Soweto giants are scheduled to take on Lidoda Duvha in a 2018 Telkom Knockout Cup round of 16 clash at the FNB Stadium on Sunday.
Striker Lebogang Manyama, who was recently involved in a car accident, has been ruled for up to six weeks according to the club's official website.
"Lebogang Manyama has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a fractured elbow,” the club's physiotherapist David Milner confirmed.
“Lebo went through MRI scans yesterday and that revealed a fractured elbow. He will accordingly be treated and be put under a recovery plan," he added.
The South Africa international was involved in an accident while travelling from training on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Milner also provided an update on Colombian striker Leonardo Castro and Madagascar international Dax Andrianarimanana.
Castro and Dax are still out nursing an ankle injury, and calf strain respectively. “Both Castro and Dax are progressively improving,” Milner said.
Milner went on to reveal that Chiefs forward Khama Billiat picked up a back injury while on national duty with the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
“Khama has to be assessed for a back injury," Milner said about Billiat, who has hit the ground running at Amakhosi after joining the club from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2018.
Lastly, Chiefs also disclosed that Joseph Molangoane is no longer on crutches and is undergoing full rehab.
The utility-player suffered a horrific leg injury during Chiefs' MTN8 clash with Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium two months ago.
