Sofapaka FC are in the quarter-finals of FKF Shield Cup following their huge 4-1 win against National Super League side Western Stima.

Batoto ba Mungu showed their class by dominating the match on Sunday, and were rewarded with a place in the quarters.

However, according to coach John Baraza, the team is not satisfied with their current position, and they are eyeing glory in both the league as well as the Shield Cup.

“I am happy with the way we played on Sunday, but being in the quarter finals means we have to work harder and go into the finals. It is not going to be an easy task, it is something which needs determination and hard work.

“Yes, we are behind Gor Mahia in the league but we have many matches left, we cannot give up. Anything can happen, this is football and we know how cruel it can be at times,” Baraza told Goal.

Sofapaka are second in the league with 40 points, twelve behind leaders K’Ogalo.
