Hearts of Oak have signed defender Christopher Bonney in a three-year deal ahead of the 2018 Ghana Premier League season, the club have confirmed.

The 19-year-old mutually parted ways with Ebusua Dwarfs a year after arriving from Asante Kotoko.

Bonney impressed head coach Frank Nuttall after joining them in a two-week trial and participated in the Ghalca G8 tournament.

"I'm excited of course, it's always a happy moment to join Hearts," Bonney said.

"I'll do my best to command first team place and help the club in the upcoming season. I thank everyone who made this dream a reality and promise not to disappoint them," he added.

Bonney has become the first major singing of Hearts of Oak this term and Goal understands that five more players including Benjamin Kotey Afutu, Theophilus Jackson, Francis Morton, Nasiri Zakari, and Reginald Thompson, will be confirmed within the week.
