Ajax manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Hakim Ziyech has secured a deal to join another club in this summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old had revealed his desire to leave the Amsterdam Arena in May after ending the 2017-18 Dutch Eredivisie campaign with nine goals and 15 assists.
Roma, Liverpool and Everton are reportedly interested in signing the playmaker this summer but the Serie A outfit are likely to tie up the deal after holding talks with the midfielder.
However, Ten Hag has bid farewell to Ziyech whom he claims has agreed a deal with his new club.
"I know he already has another deal elsewhere,” Ten Hag told Voetbal International.
"I would have liked to keep him, but the agreements between him and the club are there. The only thing I can do is wish him good luck at his new club.
" [I will miss him] first of all as a person, because he is a really nice boy to work with. And, of course, also as a player.
"If you love football, you’ll love Hakim Ziyech. Aside from his technical qualities, it’s his footballing intelligence that makes him so strong.
"I have to be careful that I do not talk too much in superlatives, but it is just a fact that a footballer with his qualities would not stay in Netherlands.
"Will he maintain his performances abroad? If you’re the best in the Netherlands, I don’t think he’ll have any problems."
