GOAL’s brightest stars: The best defender | Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea continued with their positive results with a 5-0 thrashing of Stoke City at the Stamford Bridge, with this being their 7th win in 10 games. They moved into 2nd place, taking advantage of Manchester United’s draw with Southampton.

Chelsea produced a great performance against a team that are excellent in the physical sense and rely on set pieces, which needed a pragmatism from the Blues’ players, especially against the crosses that they faced coming into the box.

The game would have not been as easy as it was had it not been for Antonio Rudiger’s headed goal in the third minute, which forced Stoke to come out of their set up and attack Chelsea as they look for the equalizer.
