EXTRA TIME: Marks Maponyane's European football weekend updates
If you can't catch the game on television then following Marks Maponyane on Twitter will provide you with regular score updates for the big European football games each Match Day.
This weekend Maponyane did so impressively as he provived updates on the English Premier League, La Liga (in Spain), Serie A (in Italy) and the MTN8 final between Cape Town City and SuperSport United in South Africa.
We focus this time on his European Tweets, together with a few other members of the South African media or soccer fraternity who reacted to the big talking points of the weekend too.
There was Jose Mourinho's Manchester United feeling the pressure with a 3-1 defeat against West Ham, while Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham each got another win under their belts.
Then we enjoyed the top of the table encounter between Chelsea and Liverpool which ended in an exciting 1-1 draw. We didn't forget the Madrid Derby where Real and Atletico drew 0-0.
Barcelona also drew, unexpectedly dropping two points against Athletic Bilbao.

Daniel Sturbridge proved that you don't need 90 plus minutes to score, YOU JUST NEED TO SIEZE THE MOMENT and make most of it

Liverpool should've scored 4 goals in the first half against Chelsea. Sounds grand, but @LFC's forwards have been trying too hard to score a wonder goal, or being too clever with creative passes. When u face top quality players like Hazard, u gave them a sniff then u pay for it

It ended with Juventus winning by 3 goals to 1, Chelsea is still leading 1 nil and Shaqiri should have pulled 1 back for Liverpool
