Safa President Dr Danny Jordaan is wishing everyone especially football fans a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2018

Safa Media released the following statement for Christmas and New Years:

“It has been a long journey and as we head into the festive season, I would like to wish everyone all the best and to enjoy this joyous period with family and friends. Remember to take care of yourself and your loved ones because the football family needs your contribution in 2018,” said Dr Jordaan.

The Safa President urged motorists and pedestrians to be cautious on the road and in whatever they do to remain safe. He said death on the roads was one sad thing which normally occurs during this time of the year.

“One of the biggest enemies during this time of the year is the carnage on our roads. Be extra careful when you drive, don’t speed, and please don’t drink and drive,” he said.

Dr Jordaan said 2018 promises lots of thrills for the football family both on and off the field of play with a number of initiatives in store.

“Take a deserved rest and enjoy yourself as we would like to welcome you in 2018 refreshed and re-energised.”
