The midfielder claims they weren't ready to make a mark in the pre-season tournament

Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Joseph Esso has admitted that inadequate preparations ahead of the Ghalca G8 pre-season tournament amounted to their shambolic performance.

The Mysterious Club failed to pick a point after three games, conceding 14 goals.

“We started the tournament very poorly and in a competition like this everyone is coming in with the hope to win or to give out their best," Esso said.

"Our best wasn’t enough and our preparations weren't the best too. These and many other factors cost us.

"I'm not happy with my performance and I plead with supporters to have patience with us since this is just pre-season. We will do our best when the league starts,” he added.
