Enyimba will find out their quarter-final opponent in this year’s Caf Confederation Cup at the draws in Cairo on Monday.
The Confederation of African Football will hold the knockout stages draw ceremony for the 2018 edition of the Caf second-tier club competition at its headquarters in Egypt.
The draws will feature representatives of the eight teams that qualified for the last eight of the continent’s club tournament that emerged the winners and runners-up from the group stage.
The People Elephants stepped up their quest to excel in the club championship following a 1-0 win over CARA Brazzaville to reach the last eight as Group C winners in Aba on Wednesday.
Others in the last eight are Raja Casablanca, AS Vita, RS Berkane, Al-Masry, USM Alger, Rayon Sports and the CARA.
It is the first time the Nigerian giants are reaching this stage of the competition since making their debut campaign in 2010 when they were bounced out in the Round of 16.
Abdullah’s side will be hoping for a fair draw as they aim to return to their glory days, securing their first African title since 2004 when they won the Caf Champions League title on the bounce.
