Hearts of Oak former striker Cosmos Dauda has revealed his desire to return to the club in the future after his contract was mutually terminated last week, despite having one-and-half-year left.
The 24-year-old scored just one goal in eight appearances in the Ghana Premier League this season.
“It is saddening that I'm leaving Hearts but I'm empowered by God to accept every situation. All the great players you know in the world at a point in their respective careers went through these difficulties,” Dauda told 442.com.
“I have the ability to bounce back in grand style and carve a niche for myself in the future. I'm grateful to Hearts for the opportunity to wear their colours and bring my skill to bear.
“Not all footballers get such opportunities to play for Hearts. I shall return one day to right the wrongs of today,” he added.
Goal understands that Dauda has been linked with a move to Medeama and Elmina Sharks ahead of the second transfer window.
