Daniel Arzani injured in Celtic debut as Tom Rogic scores in milestone match

After biding his time in the academy side, Daniel Arzani has finally got his first taste of senior action with Celtic coming on in the 56th minute against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.

As Arzani came on with the Hoops leading 5-0, fellow Socceroo Tom Rogic made way having opened the scoring in his 150th appearance for the club.

The attacking midfielder continuing his good run of form in front of goal with a cracking finish from outside the box in the 20th minute.

As the Hoops made light work of a Dundee side sitting bottom of the table, Arzani was given his chance to impress just before the hour mark and did just that before tragedy struck.

Just five minutes after coming on, the 19-year-old created a golden chance for his side, which couldn't be converted, and was generally catching the eye for his new club.

But his fairytale debut wouldn't have a happy ending with Arzani needing to be stretchered off late in the game as Celtic were forced to finish the game with 10 men.

It's not clear as yet what injury Arzani has suffered but it does appear to be a leg injury of some kind.

Celtic went on to win the match 5-0 and now sit second in the Premiership.
