Coach Frank Ouna has ditched Wazito FC barely a week after the club was relegated to the National Super League.

Ouna guided Wazito to the Kenyan Premier League in the 2017 season, but lasted only for one season before he was sent back to the lower division after Wazito finished 17th out of 18 teams.

The former Gor Mahia assistant coach parted ways with the club on mutual grounds as confirmed by the club: “Wazito FC would like to inform the public that our coach Frank Ouna has requested to pursue his coaching career outside the club.

Assistant coach Ahmed Mohammed will take charge of the team on an interim basis. “The management will provide him support to constitute his technical bench and undertake his duties.”
