Chelsea vs Liverpool: TV channel, live stream, team news & preview

Liverpool have the chance of breaking a Premier League record should they defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, though it will be no easy feat – having just lost to the Blues in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The Reds are the only Premier League team to have maintained a perfect winning streak to start their season, with Manchester City and Chelsea both succumbing to a draw each.

Eden Hazard could very well inflict further damage to the Reds after his winning goal  knocked them out of the Cup, though Liverpool will be keen on revenge.

Andreas Christensen was a concern after being forced to come off the pitch with an illness in the midweek game against Liverpool, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek also had to be treated with an injection after complaining of discomfort in training. Neither made the bench today for Sarri's side.

Mohamed Salah Sadio Mane Liverpool 2018

Chelsea already stunned Liverpool once by eliminating them from the Carabao Cup in the midweek courtesy of a Hazard stunner, though Liverpool will be aiming to bounce back and seek revenge against their title-chasing rivals.

Liverpool made eight changes to face the Blues on Wednesday, leaving Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino on the bench while the likes of Simon Mignolet, Alberto Moreno and Fabinho were drafted in.

The Brazil international has struggled to make an impact on the pitch so far following his summer arrival from Monaco, and is expected to be left on the bench in favour of midfielder regulars Jordan Henderson and James Milner.

Maurizio Sarri's side slipped to a draw against West Ham but remain unbeaten in all competitions, with his players having adopted his 'Sarriball' playing style with relative ease.

Six Premier League wins from the start of the season is a club record and the joint-league record, and Liverpool have the opportunity to break it should they win against Chelsea.

Salah has only scored two goals and two assists so far this season but that is only one goal worse than his record from last season after six games, and should be motivated to net against his former side on Saturday.

Klopp's side have an uneasy run of fixtures ahead of them as they are due to face The Blues, Napoli and Manchester City in the span of one week.
