Cape Town City coach delighted to sign Masoud Juma

Cape Town City FC coach Benni McCarthy is delighted with the acquisition of former Kariobangi Sharks striker Masoud Juma.

Masoud agreed to join the South African side for undisclosed fee after Cape Town fend off bids from Europe, Egypt and South Africa.

But the 21 year-old Kenyan international's expected arrival has been welcomed by the former South African star.

“At just 21, Juma has proven to be Africa's most prolific goal scorer.His quality is evident, as is the interest for him in Europe. He is still young and needs to be nurtured. But once he adapts and settles in, he has all the makings of a lethal out and out nine.”

Masoud Juma, who score 17 league goals for Sharks last season, is expected to will link up with his teammates on January 8, once his work permit has been received.

Juma was also a transfer target for Albanian side FK Skenderbeu Korce and South African side SuperSport United.
