Saturday's featured Serie A clash sees the runaway league leaders welcoming Gennaro Gattuso's men to Turin where backing late goals offer the value

Juventus took another step towards an eighth consecutive Serie A crown by beating Cagliari in a game marred by the racist abuse directed at 19-year-old forward Moise Kean.

The Old Lady's victory coupled with second place Napoli losing 2-1 to Empoli has seen Massimiliano Allegri's extend their advantage at the top of the table to 18 points.

The title could be sealed this weekend if Juve win their clash with Milan and Napoli lose to Genoa.

Another Scudetto has rarely looked anything more than a formality for the reigning champions who turn their attention to European glory with a trip to Ajax on Wednesday.

This weekend sees Juve as 3/4 (1.75) favourites with 888Sport. Milan are winless in their previous three league outings and make little appeal at 21/5 (5.20) while the draw trades at 23/10 (3.30).

The hosts have only dropped four points at home all season in Serie A and would appear generously priced to win the game. Not least with Juve having already come out on top 2-0 in the reverse fixture and having won the last seven head-to-head encounters between the teams in all competitions.

However, with a Champions League quarter final looming plus the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, there appear better options than the odds-on quotes about Allegri's getting three points.

An alternative betting angle worth considering is the potential for late goals in Turin. Juve have scored 55 per cent of their league goals in the second 45 minutes of matches while Milan's tally is 59%.

Away from home Gennaro Gattuso's men have seen 20 goals (12 scored, eight conceded) in the second half of their Serie A games this season compared to just 10 before the interval.

888Sport go 27/20 (2.35) on two or more goals being scored in the second half and that looks worthy of some modest support.

The potential for Juventus resting key players could afford the visitors more of an opportunity in the final third and the Allianz Stadium crowd could be in for some late drama on Saturday night.
