Bet9ja Preview: Chelsea vs Everton: Back the Blues to win to nil

Chelsea will be at home when they take on Everton in the fourth round of the English Football League Cup at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Antonio Conte’s side will be coming into this game on the back of their 4-2 victory over Watford after an initial scare where they went down 2-1 in the first 50 minutes.

The Blues will be meeting with their guests for the third time in this competition and will be confident of seeing the game through having thumped Nottingham Forest 5-1 in the previous round.

Though they have not been impressive in the Premier League lately with back-to-back losses to Manchester City and Crystal Palace prior to their win against the Hornets, they boast of better stats against their visitors having won six of their last nine meetings. Bet9ja has tagged them favourites for the clash at the price of (1.47).

Odds of (4.60) are up for grabs for both sides to record a stalemate as eight of their last 24 meetings ended that  way.

For the Toffees, they will be led into this encounter by Under-23 coach, David Unsworth following the sack of Ronald Koeman having failed to secure a single victory in their last five duels.

They got to this stage after dispatching Sunderland 3-0 but a spate of poor results recently means they are not rated high here as they are tagged underdogs at (6.50) by the same betting outfit.

The Stamford Bridge giants have opened the scoring in their last three outings with the Merseyside outfit and will be looking to repeat the same here at (1.38).

Chelsea have scored ten goals against Everton in their last three meetings without conceding and can be backed at (2.50) to win to nil while Bet9ja offers odds of (1.68) for more than three goals to surface in this clash.
