Bandari striker takes lead in Golden boot race

Bandari FC striker Dan Sserunkuma has paced past Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards forwards to take lead in the KPL Golden boot race after five matches of the league.

The former Gor Mahia star has scored three goals, one above those of AFC Leopards duo of Gilbert Fiamenyo and Allan Kateregga. Gor Mahia strikers Jacques Tuyisenge and Meddie Kagere have also scored two goals apiece.

The rest (with two goals) include; Paul Odhiambo, Ezekial Okari, Humphrey Okoti (Sofapaka), Shafik Batambuze (Tusker), Brian Otieno, Elvis Rupia (Nzoia Sugar), Fredrick Shimonyo (Western Stima), David Okoth (Kakamega Homeboyz), Elvis Rupia, Edwin Wafula (Nzoia Sugar), Dennis Mukaisi (Posta Rangers), George Abega (Sonya Sugar), Stephen Waruru (Ulinzi Stars).
