Al Shabab set to change managers with former Al Nasr coach as top choice

Al Shabab are edging closer to finalizing the deal bringing former Al Nasr coach Ivan Jovanovic to replace the sacked Rutten

Underperforming Al Shabab are keen on signing Al Nasr former coach Ivan Jovanović to succeed Dutch coach Fred Rutten who was sacked by the club an hour after the team’s 4-0 humiliating loss against Al Ittihad Kalbaa.

Media indicated that the club will presnt their new coach in the coming few hours as the team look for an alternative that has experience in Emirati football to save the team from their dire situation.

The 4-0 thumping against Al Itthad Kalbaa was Al Shabab’s 7th loss in a row  placing them in 8th position with 21 points from 15 matches, 14 points behind the leaders, Al Jazira.
