Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah has congratulated his Al Hilal teammates, technical team and supporters on a “well deserved” Sudanese Premier League title after they were crowned champions on Saturday in Omdurman.
A 2-0 win over city rivals Al Merriek on final day saw the Blue Wave secure their second Premier League crown in three years with 80 points, one better than their visitors.
Okrah, who won the title with Merriekh in 2015 before switching camp, was an used substitute in the all-important fixture against his former side but made 21 appearances and scored six goals in the campaign.
Very grateful to God almighty first, and the entire technical team, my teammates and the vociferous supporters for a successful season.— AugustOkrah Official (@AugustineOkrah1) November 26, 2017
