Al Ain FC's assistant head coach Ahmed Abdullah was full of praise for the side after their convincing away win.

Al Ain strolled to a comfortable 3-0 away victory over Hatta at Hamdan bin Rashid Stadium in Matchweek Two of the Arabian Gulf League.

Assistant head coach Ahmed Abdullah was pleased with the team’s performance as they brushed aside the opposition.

“Al Ain players exhibited their strong charisma and great desire to settle the result of the match from the kickoff whistle by adopting the technique of high pressure within the area of the opponent," he said.

"Indeed, they got what they aimed for in the right time and took the lead by scoring two clean goals before the first half break.”

What was most impressive according to Abdullah was the level of domination the away side enjoyed.

“We were able to have absolute domination over the match details from the beginning until the final whistle. We did waste chances but achieved what is important; winning the game and clinching three points,” he added.

Abdullah shrugged off suggestions that Hatta did not put up much of a fight and allowed Al Ain to stroll to victory.

“It is a fact that there is no easy match in the world of football, and it is a must that we should show respect to the opposing team regardless of their rank in the standing table," he concluded.

It was a first win of the season for Zoran Mamic's men as they move to four points from two games, having drawn Al Wasl 2-2 in the opening matchweek.
