AFC Leopards will be seeking to make up for a poor start to the season with a positive result against Al Hilal of Sudan on Sunday.

Ingwe dropped two crucial points after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Posta Rangers in the opening match of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League action at Afraha Stadium on Saturday.

But Robert Matano is expected to field a totally different team against the Sudanese side as they square it out in an international friendly match at Machakos Stadium.

Ingwe are expected to field a relatively stronger team in the friendly, something that will not go down well with a section of fans who have since questioned the coach’s priority.

AFC Leopards last won the domestic cup way back in 1999 when striker Vincent Oburu, who is expected to lead the attack, was just one year old.

The match will kick off at 3.00 PM at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

AFC Leopards will use the match as part of their preparation for the February 11 Caf Confederation Cup match against Fosa Juniors of Madagascar.
