The Fire Club's boss believes they have adequately prepared to face the Libyan side this weekend

Aduana Stars coach Yussif Abubakar is brimming with confidence ahead of the first leg of Caf Champions League preliminary round against Al Tahady of Libya on Sunday.

The Fire Club left Ghana on Thursday for Alexandria, Egypt with the full complement of their team, except striker Yahaya Mohammed who is nursing an injury.

"We know a little about them since we watched some clips of their games and we've also gotten additional information from them from other sources so we are adequately prepared and will have a good result in the first leg," Abubakar said.

"Ghanaians must pray and support us even if they don't like us. We will make Ghanaians proud and loud. We want to help bring back the good memories people had about Ghana when it comes to club football.

"I don't believe we'll lose in Egypt and I don't believe they can eliminate us from the competition but everything starts this weekend. A good game plan and discipline will see us smiling," he added.

Aduana will play the return leg on February 21 at their favourite Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa Ahenkro, after Caf’s approval.
