FULL TIME: WELLINGTON PHOENIX 2 NEWCASTLE JETS 1 - The referee checks his watch and blows the whistle for full time. The Wellington Phoenix have chalked up a 2-1 win over the Newcastle Jets. The second half started off with the Phoenix dominating play, thinking they struck with a 61st minute Singh goal, which was disallowed by the VAR. However, the Phoenix were able to get the positive side of the VAR, as a penalty in the 90th minute resulted in a Krishna goal. The Jets left their run a little too late, as Petratos speared one past Kurto, but time was not on their side, with the Phoenix edging the Jets out.
