Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Southampton host Leeds United next, while Fulham face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
There goes the full-time whistle! Southampton took the lead through Adams, who turned home Ward-Prowe's free-kick delivery after some poor Fulham defending, before Tella scored his first senior goal to double the hosts' advantage. Fulham teenager Carvalho smashed in off the bar from a tight angle to give the Cottagers hope, but Walcott's deflected strike sealed the game for Hasenhuttl's side. It finishes 3-1 to Southampton!
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: SOUTHAMPTON 3-1 FULHAM
90' There will be three minutes of time added on. Fulham's comeback hopes appear to have been well and truly dashed, barring a miraculous turnaround now.
88' Reed flicks the ball on for Carvalho on the edge of the box and the youngster goes for the bottom corner with a first-time effort, but it takes a deflection and McCarthy can simply pick the loose ball up.
86' Southampton have now netted three or more goals in consecutive Premier League games for the first time since December 2018.
84' SAVE! Tella shrugs his man off on the left and darts purposefully into the box before lashing a low effort towards the near post, but Areola gets down to make the save!
N. Tella
Assist
Southampton
82' Tella pulled wide to make space for Walcott and showed great awareness to backheel into his fellow substitute, who was arriving late from a deeper position.
T. Walcott

82' GOAL!!! WALCOTT SURELY WRAPS IT UP FOR SOUTHAMPTON!!! Southampton put together a slick, flowing counter as Walcott lays off to Adams, who feeds Tella on the right. The youngster backheels to Walcott on the edge of the box and the substitute's first-time effort takes a deflection and flies past Areola and in! It's 3-1 to Southampton now!
80' Carvalho is the second-youngest player to score in the Premier League this season (18y 258d), after Wolves striker Fabio Silva (18y 155d).

78' Hasenhuttl makes another change now, with Armstrong coming off for the more defensive Diallo as he looks to hold onto the lead.

F. Carvalho
Goal
Fulham
75' GOAL!!! FULHAM HAVE ONE BACK!!! The visitors work a slick move down their right which results in Reid playing Carvalho into the box. The angle is tight, but the youngster produces a stunning finish to smash it in off the bar! It's 2-1 now!
73' Fulham are pushing forward now with a little more urgency as Lookman and Reid both see shots blocked. It's a little better from the visitors.
71' BLOCK! Carvalho shows good feet to get away in midfield and slides the ball into Lookman on the left, but the winger's shot across goal after driving into the box is blocked bravely by Stephens!
69' Redmond eases his way into the box from the left before laying it off to Armstrong on the edge of the box, but the midfielder's first-time strike is deflected behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
67' CLOSE! Cavaleiro weaves his way inside from the right before laying the ball off to Bryan on the edge of the box. The left-back hits a sweet, clean strike across goal, but it whistles just wide of the far post!
65' Tella's goal was his first for Southampton in his 21st appearance for the club, just 98 seconds after coming off the bench.
A. Lookman
A. Zambo Anguissa
Fulham
63' The second Fulham change sees central midfielder Anguissa come off for a winger in Lookman as Parker opts to add an extra forward to the side.
J. Bryan
O. Aina
Fulham
62' Parker makes a double-change as he looks for an improvement from his side, with Bryan replacing Aina at left-back in the first alteration.
K. Walker-Peters
Assist
Southampton
60' Walker-Peters holds the width well until he's found before firing in a terrific ball for Tella, who could hardly miss from the position he was in.
N. Tella
Goal
Southampton
60' GOAL!!! TELLA DOUBLES THE LEAD!!! Southampton work the ball wide to Walker-Peters, who fizzes a low ball across the face of goal that Tella, less than two minutes after coming off the bench, meets in the middle and slots past Areola to score his first senior goal! It's 2-0 to Southampton now!
59' SAVE! Adams plays Redmond through with a beautiful, first-time pass that splits the defence, but the angle closes on the Saints winger and his fierce effort across the face of goal is saved by McCarthy and hacked away from the lurking Armstrong!
N. Tella
D. Ings
Southampton
58' Hasenhuttl makes a change early in the second half now, replacing the hardworking Ings with a young forward in Tella.
56' BLOCK! Armstrong cuts in from the right to the edge of the box as he looks for an angle on his left, but he's closed down and dispossessed. The ball comes back down the Southampton left through Redmond, who tries to fire one in from range, but it's blocked away!
54' Ward-Prowse has been involved in 15 Premier League goals for Southampton this season (8 goals, 7 assists) - as many as in his previous two campaigns combined.
52' WIDE! A corner is swung in and Ings meets it in the centre of the area, attempting to place his header across goal and inside the far post, but it's just wide and it goes behind off Cavaleiro!
50' A foul from Onomah hands Ward-Prowse a free-kick out on the Southampton right. His delivery is outstanding, but Adams just can't quite connect with it at the back post!
48' Fulham are winless in their last 27 Premier League games when conceding the first goal (D1 L26), since coming back to beat Brighton 4-2 in January 2019. Can they come from behind today?
46' We're back underway for the second half!
Fulham have had their moments in this game but haven't been decisive enough in the final third so far, managing just one shot on target. Parker will surely be looking for more ruthlessness and efficiency from his men in the second half.
There goes the half-time whistle! Southampton lead at the break after some woeful Fulham defending from a Ward-Prowse set-piece delivery allowed Adams to fire home from close range. The Saints captain had a chance to double his side's lead from another free-kick, but Areola managed to beat the shot aside. Fulham had a handful of half-chances, but were unable to test McCarthy with the majority of them. It's 1-0 to Southampton at the break!
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 FULHAM
44' CHANCE! Ings is played in behind and just about manages to round Areola, but his touch is heavy and takes him to the byline, where he tries to loft it back into the middle but Andersen heads behind for a corner!
43' McCarthy comes charging off his line to deal with a deep cross towards the back post and fumbles his catch, but nobody is able to capitalise on the loose ball and the goalkeeper eventually smothers it.
42' Ings chases the ball into the box and almost gets a toe to it, but it's agonisingly out of reach and Areola gratefully clutches the ball to his chest.
40' Ward-Prowse lofts a corner from the left towards the giant frame of Vestergaard at the back post, but the delivery is too high even for the Saints centre-back and the ball bounces harmlessly away.
38' Reid surges down the left, cuts back onto his right and curls the ball into Cavaleiro in the middle, but he can't quite take it on the turn and Southampton clear. Andersen picks up the pieces and thumps one at goal from distance, but it's blocked away.
36' SAVE! Ward-Prowse opts to blast his free-kick towards the goalkeeper's side on the left, but he doesn't get it quite in the top corner and Areola is able to palm the powerful effort away!
35' Aina rashly slides in and takes Minamino out right on the edge of the box. The free-kick is in a prime position for Ward-Prowse to strike at goal.
33'  Adams has scored 9 Premier League goals this season - the last Scottish player to score more in the competition in a single season was Steven Fletcher in 2012/13 (11)
31' SAVE! Carvalho does well to stay upright under pressure in the box and manages to get his shot away, but McCarthy had positioned himself well and holds on to the effort!
29' All seven of Ward-Prowse's Premier League assists this season have come from set piece situations, with the Saints captain providing more such assists than any other player in the competition.
J. Ward-Prowse
Assist
Southampton
27' Ward-Prowse's delivery was accurate and had plenty of whip, and it sailed past three or four Fulham defenders and into the path of Adams, whose clever movement got him into the right position to score.
C. Adams
Goal
Southampton
27' GOAL!! SOUTHAMPTON TAKE THE LEAD!! Ward-Prowse swings a free-kick from the right to the back post and the Fulham defenders are static as it comes in, allowing Adams to dart in and guide a finish high into the net from close range! Awful defending from the visitors. It's 1-0 to Southampton!
J. Andersen
Yellow Card
Fulham
26' The first yellow card of the game goes to Andersen, who could easily have gone into the book earlier on in the half for a crunching tackle.
24' CHANCE! Fulham win another corner and Cavaleiro whips it into the near post. Once again, Andersen rises highest to meet it and flicks it on to the back post, but nobody can get a touch to convert! That was the exact same corner routine as the one that led to Reid's chance earlier, and Southampton failed to defend it once more.
22' McCarthy goes long, looking for Ings up front, but the flag goes up against the striker and puts an end to the opportunity.
20' NO PENALTY! Carvalho receives the ball from Tete in the box with his back to goal and tries to take it on the turn, but goes down under pressure from Armstrong! He wants a penalty, but the referee isn't interested!
18' The referee has been fairly lenient so far, deciding not to bring out his yellow card despite several hefty challenges.
16' OFF THE LINE! Fulham are sloppy as they play out from the back and Southampton pounce on it in the attacking third. Adams charges down the right and slips Minamino into the box in space, but Andersen hacks the shot across goal off the line with McCarthy beaten!
14' NO PENALTY! Ings is surrounded in the box and tries to wriggle out of trouble before going to ground under pressure, but his appeals are waved away!
12' WIDE! Redmond is played in down the left side of the box and has options in the middle, but he instead takes on the shot from a tight angle and slices a wild effort wide of the target!
9' CHANCE! After Ward-Prowse gives a corner away under no pressure, the delivery from the right is whipped in and flicked on by Andersen to Reid, unmarked at the back post, but the forward fluffs his lines and fails to connect properly with his shot! The offside flag then goes up, however, to spare Reid's blushes.
7' WIDE! The ball breaks to Onomah on the edge of the box on the left and he takes a snap-shot towards the bottom-left corner, but he drags it just wide of the post!
5' Neither side has yet been able to stamp their authority on this game. It's been very back-and-forth so far with the play bogged down in midfield.
3' Minamino chases down a lofted ball over the top of the Fulham defence and into the box, but Areola is off his line quickly and claims it to put an end to the danger.
1' We're underway at St. Mary's!
Fulham have only managed one win in 30 league games away to Southampton (D8 L21), a 2-1 win in the second tier back in October 1935, and are winless in their last nine top-flight visits to Saints (D4 L5). However, on the previous two occasions the Cottagers have been relegated from the Premier League, they’ve avoided defeat in the game after their relegation was confirmed, drawing 2-2 with Palace in 2013/14 and beating Everton 2-0 in 2018/19.
Southampton may well be feeling confident ahead of this afternoon's clash, having lost just one of their last eight top-flight matches against Fulham (W3 D4). Furthermore, there has only been one away win in 15 Premier League meetings between these two sides, with Saints winning 3-0 at Craven Cottage under Mauricio Pochettino back in February 2014.
Meanwhile, Fulham boss Scott Parker makes four alterations to the team that was beaten by Burnley, bringing Aina, Reed, Onomah and Carvalho into the starting line-up. Mitrovic and Lookman drop to the bench, while Antonee Robinson is left out alongside the injured Mario Lemina. Tom Cairney and Terence Kongolo are also ruled out.
Southampton head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl makes one enforced change following his side's 3-1 win against Palace on Tuesday. Jan Bednarek joins Oriol Romeu, Ryan Bertrand and Will Smallbone on the treatment table and is replaced in defence by Salisu.
Fulham substitutes: Marek Rodak, Josh Maja, Joe Bryan, Michael Hector, Ademola Lookman, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Tim Ream, Denis Odoi.
Fulham XI (4-2-3-1): Alphonse Areola; Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Ola Aina; Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Harrison Reed; Ivan Cavaleiro, Josh Onomah, Fabio Carvalho; Bobby De Cordova-Reid.
Southampton substitutes: Moussa Djenepo, Kayne Ramsay, Theo Walcott, Fraser Forster, Will Ferry, Nathan Tella, Ibrahima Diallo, Daniel N'Lundulu, Michael Obafemi.
Southampton XI (4-4-2): Alex McCarthy; Kyle Walker-Peters, Jannick Vestergaard, Jack Stephens, Mohammed Salisu; Takumi Minamino, James Ward-Prowse, Stuart Armstrong, Nathan Redmond; Danny Ings, Che Adams.
Fulham's relegation back to the Championship was confirmed on Monday as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Burnley, but they must pick themselves back up as they take on 14th-placed Southampton, who will be keen to build on their victory over Crystal Palace last time out that ended a run of poor form.
