The winner of Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory awaits at Optus Stadium. That second semi-final will be played on Sunday in Sydney with hopefully as much drama as we have seen tonight! We certainly have been treated to an incredible week of football.
Wow. What a game that was! The Glory had one foot in the Grand Final twice before the penalty shootout, but Adelaide bit back and showed incredible spirit given it was their second lot of 120 minutes in five days. It seemed nobody wanted to win it with five spot-kick's missed in a row, before Joel Chianese stepped up, kept his nerve, and fired Perth into next weekend's decider.
FULL TIME - Perth Glory 3 (Castro 29', 74', Neville 104') Adelaide United 3 (Diawara 82', Kitto 90+5', Marrone 115')Perth Glory win 5-4 on penalties.

1-1! Perth level it up with a tremendous penalty into the top corner from Juande.

1-0 Adelaide! Goodwin calmly puts that straight up the middle. Some nerve to panenka with your first attempt.
Right, penalties it is... A first penalty shootout since 2011/12 for the Glory when they beat Central Coast en route to their only Grand Final appearance at Suncorp Stadium. Up first will be Adelaide and Craig Goodwin...
Phew. What a game this has been. Twists, turns, another thrilling comeback and still the drama of penalties to come. Paul Izzo has gone to the tunnel for treatment, but should be okay for penalties. Keep your eyes peeled on this one!
FULL TIME - Perth Glory 3 (Castro 29', 74', Neville 104') Adelaide United 3 (Diawara 82', Kitto 90+5', Marrone 115')
120' + 2' Chance! Spiranovic has the chance to win it, but he heads over and surely spot kicks will now decide this one.
120' + 2' Corner to the Glory...
120' Neville's cross is deep, beyond the head of Davidson and Adelaide will take every second possible off the clock now. Paul Izzo is sore and unable to take this goal kick, so Jordan Elsey pumps it up field. Two minutes of added time to come.
118' Have to say this is courageous stuff from Adelaide. Two periods of 120 minutes in five days and still they keep finding. We've seen some stunning comebacks in Europe during the week, will there be one more twist in Australia?
Goal
116' 3-3! Outrageous. Kitto slings it in from the left and Marrone steams in to head forcefully past Reddy. The A-League Finals at their very best and we're five minutes away from a penalty shootout!

111' Konstandopoulos is down following a collision from that play and is really battling out there. Adelaide have used all of their changes though, so he may have to fight through the pain.
110' Adelaide continue to press forward and it's all pretty tense at the moment. The Glory are desperate to clear their lines and interventions are needed from Lowry and Davidson. Kitto can't hit the target on this occasion with the follow-up and Perth have a breather in the form of a goal kick.
107' Small scare for Perth as Marrone does well to win posession back before floating a cross for Diawara. It's over the striker's head, but was there a small push from Djulbic? Referee says no, and there's no further action from the VAR.
105' Second period of extra-time underway in the west!
Once again, Perth have a foot back in next week's Grand Final. Can they see it out this time or will Adelaide spring another surprise?

94' Flat start to the extra-time period as Glory look to get the crowd going again, while Adelaide conserve a bit of energy given their exertions over the past week.
90' Underway in the first period of extra time. What drama awaits us in the next half-hour I wonder?
Unbelievable. Well, it's certainly been a week for comebacks, but this one came out of nowhere. Diego Castro's brace put one foot in the Grand Final for Glory, but Diawara pulled one back, before Kitto drove in at the death and we have extra time. Adelaide will play beyond the 90 minutes for a second time in five days.

90' + 2' Izzo is off his line to scramble clear after a long ball forward. Perth are happy to take plenty of time over the throw-in, which is at the right end of the ground for them.
90' + 1' Four minutes of added time to come.
89' Ikonomidis drives forward as Adelaide commit bodies forward, but the forward strikes over the bar with Castro running alongside him. Around 90 seconds remain plus stoppage time.

68' Castro weaves his magic again as he dribbles past two defenders and lays off to Ikonomidis, whose shot is blocked before Castro's drive from 18-yards is gathered by Izzo.
64' Adelaide get an opportunity to come forward, but Goodwin's cross is wayward and out for a goal kick. The Reds need to make the most of those chances when they arise.
63' Marrone goes in clumsily on Ikonomidis outside the area, but referee Alex King lets him off with a final warning. Castro's free-kick is straight into the wall and the attack breaks down.

53' Kilkenny's corner is whipped in, but it evades Lowry and Djulbic and runs all the way through to Franjic, who is crowded out and the attack ends.
52' The Glory look to build the play down the left wing, but Adelaide stay firm at the back for the time being. Ikonomidis eventually finds space in-behind Galloway and wins a corner.
47' The corner leads to nothing and Ikonomidis drives up-field. He has Keogh running ahead of him, who then attempts to find the Socceroo with a return pass, but it's cut out by Galloway.
46' Adelaide start the second half well and win an early corner.
45' Underway in the second half at HBF Park in Perth. The Glory lead Adelaide 1-0.
Perth Glory had 51% possession in the first half and lead the shots on target 3-2. Adelaide have conceded more fouls and have Galloway, Isaias and Marrone on a yellow card. Castro's goal was his eighth of the season.
Adelaide United perhaps need to go back to the possession-based style, which frustrated Glory early in the half, and stopped the home side from getting that head of steam up. The final ball was lacking, however, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Mileusnic or Diawara enter the fray to add more threat up top.
Izzo got fingertips to Djulbic's powerful header, which hit the bar but didn't cross the line, before Castro finished a superb through ball from Ikonomidis. Franjic could have doubled the lead for Perth and in the end, the interval came at the right time for the Reds.
Diego Castro's goal separates the sides at the break and they certainly needed it after Adelaide started the match pretty well. Goodwin's cross nearly found Konstandopoulos and the latter found himself in several advanced areas, but Reddy never really had a save to make and the Glory were able to grow into the game.

45' + 1' Konstandopoulos finds space outside the area and strikes at goal, but Reddy is in the way and can field that pretty comfortably. Three minutes of added time to come.
43' Clever routine by the Glory as Castro plays a nice reverse ball instead of looking for the tall timber, but Davidson's pull-back is cut out and cleared up field.
Yellow Card
43' Marrone is booked for a rash challenge on Ikonomidis and Perth have a set-piece in a dangerous position.
39' Glory come close to doubling their lead as Franjic makes a yard of space around Kitto and flashes one across goal. Izzo gets a vital touch on the strike and it goes behind for a corner, which leads to nothing for Perth. The goalkeeper is down following the set-piece and looks sore, but is okay to continue.
37' The home side have settled and are now controlling the tempo as Keogh is caught offside with another move developing. Eight minutes remaining in this half and the Reds are trying to avoid the concession of a second goal.
35' Glory have their tails up since the goal as Ikonomidis' cross is cleared away by Marrone, before Juande's shot is blocked and away from Adelaide's goal.
Goal
30' Glory draw first blood in the semi-final and it's their talisman who delivers once again! Chris Ikonomidis turns on a sixpence outside the area before feeding Castro with a superb pass. The Spaniard is one-on-one with Izzo and tucks it away at the near post. One-up inside the first half hour.

26' Davidson is up-field from left back and has a ping from 30-yards out. That's wide by some distance, though, to the frustration of several team-mates who were forward for that attack.
23' Adelaide continue to look dangerous, particularly down the left wing, and this time Craig Goodwin fizzes a low ball across the six-yard box. Any touch from Konstandopoulos and that's a goal, but there's too much heat on it. The Reds remain on top for now.
19' Forward come Adelaide again and this time Konstandopoulos sneaks in-behind Glory's defence. This time Liam Reddy is out quickly and Shane Lowry comes across to assist as the attack is snuffed out, but encouraging signs for the Reds.

16' Big chance for Perth! Dino Djulbic rises high from Jason Davidson's cross and thunders a header toward goal. It hits the underside of the bar, bounces clear and is eventually gathered by Paul Izzo via the post. An almighty scramble, but the whole of the ball did not cross the line, and Adelaide survive a first major scare.
10' Chance for the Reds as Craig Goodwin beats the offside trap and eventually lays back to Nathan Konstandopoulos, whose shot is deflected wide for a corner.
9' Nervy stuff from the Glory who try to play out from the back, but Adelaide are pressing well and force a couple of errors high up the field.
6' Shouts for a penalty by the home crowd as Jason Davidson heads back across goal and Andy Keogh falls in the box. The players aren't that interested, though, and the referee waves that away.
4' Adelaide are trying to keep possession and take the sting out of things in the first five minutes. They build two or three attacks down the flanks, but there's no penetration and they lead to nothing.
2' Great noise coming from the fans in the shed early on. They have been waiting a long time for a home final and immediately Diego Castro comes forward. He has Ivan Franjic bombing down the right, but shoots straight into the Reds defence and it is cleared away.
1' Underway at HBF Park as Perth Glory and Adelaide United lock horns.
Adelaide United haven't won against Perth Glory in 2018/19 and are yet to score a goal against the Premiers, but the Reds have only lost once in their last eight away games and won 3-0 in Perth last season. Can Adelaide United upset the odds against the league's best team or will the Glory days at Perth continue?
Adelaide United (4-2-3-1): Izzo; Galloway, Marrone, Jakobsen, Kitto; Isaias, Konstandopoulos; Halloran, Boland, Goodwin; Blackwood.
Perth Glory (3-4-1-2): Reddy; Djulbic, Spiranovic, Lowry; Franjic, Juande, Kilkenny, Davidson; Castro; Ikonomidis, Keogh.Subs: Velaphi, Neville, Brimmer, Chianese, Santalab.
The Reds make one change to the side which won at Coopers Stadium last week with Nathan Konstandopoulos coming into midfield and winger Nikola Mileusnic dropping to the bench.
Adelaide, meanwhile, finished fourth in the regular season and entered the A-League finals as one of the form teams in the competition. They were undefeated in their last five league matches, winning four of those to secure a home final. That final was only five days ago and they required a 119th minute winner from Ben Halloran in a tense 1-0 win over Melbourne City.
Most of the talk leading into this one for the home side was whether key midfield man Neil Kilkenny would be fit after injuring his ankle, but he has been named in a strong starting lineup. The only notable absence in Tomislav Mrcela, who isn't in the squad at all, with Dino Djulbic continuing in defence after a strong recent run of form.
The Glory are regular season Premiers, finishing eight points clear of runner-up Sydney FC and 16 ahead of tonight's opposition Adelaide United. They have lost just three games all season in the league, but two of those have been at home. Incidentally, the only meeting between Perth and Adelaide at HBF in the regular season ended in a goalless draw.
It's win or bust tonight for both teams on what is a perfect evening for football in Perth. A crowd of around 18,000 is expected here in the west, but this will be the last game of the season at HBF Park for Glory regardless of the result, with next week's final set to be hosted at the 60,000-capacity Optus Stadium should Glory advance.
Good evening and welcome to HBF Park in Western Australia as Perth Glory face Adelaide United in the A-League's first semi-final. The winner tonight will face the winner of Sunday's second semi-final between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory in a week's time.
