Commentary

That’s all for now. Goodbye!
It has been a season bookended by two awful runs for Fulham, and Parker will just hope his team can offer up some form of optimism to build on in the Championship. Burnley, on the other hand, can prep for another season in the big time.
That’s curtains for Fulham, whose relegation from the Premier League has been confirmed with three games to spare. Westwood and Wood got the goals for Burnley in the first half, and the Clarets, along with Southampton, Brighton and Newcastle, are now all sure of their places in next season’s top flight.
90' + 5' FULL TIME: FULHAM 0-2 BURNLEY.
90' + 4' What a poor decision from Loftus-Cheek, and that sums up Fulham’s night. The Chelsea loanee rushed onto Lookman’s neat pass, but instead of shooting with a fair chunk of goal to aim at, he tried to pass it, and Burnley cleared with ease.
90' + 2' Rodriguez skips away from a few challenges to relieve the pressure on Burnley’s line, and wind down the clock in the process.
90' + 1' There will be four minutes of added time.
88' Clever play from Tarkowski, who stands up Lookman and then, just as the ball was about to go out of play, draws a foul from the winger.
A. Barnes
C. Wood
Burnley
86' It has been a superb defensive display from Burnley in this second half, and they are just minutes away from safety. A second change from Dyche sees Barnes replace Wood, who scored the Clarets’ second just before half-time.
M. Lemina
Yellow Card
Fulham
83' A loose pass from Lemina gives Burnley the chance to break and, though the move eventually results in nothing, the Fulham midfielder is booked for a late challenge on Wood as he attempted to stop the counter.
81' It’s cross after cross from Fulham, but still, Burnley stand firm, and Pope has remained relatively untroubled.
79' WIDE! That’s an awful header from Loftus-Cheek. He had got into a good position to latch onto Cavaleiro’s cross, but directed his attempt well off target.
77' Anguissa has another go, though this time gets far too much power and swerve on his effort, sending it way wide. It’s getting desperate for Fulham.
R. Loftus-Cheek
T. Adarabioyo
Fulham
74' A final roll of the dice for Fulham, as Loftus-Cheek replaces Adarabioyo.
74' SAVE! Areola keeps Fulham in with a chance as he rushes out to close the angle and deny Rodriguez, who had been slipped in by McNeil.
72' Rodriguez, who has just come on for Burnley, has scored five goals in seven appearances against Fulham in all competitions, including a brace in their 3-0 FA Cup win at Craven Cottage this season. Only against Nottingham Forest (six) has he scored more in English football.
70' OFF THE BAR! Anguissa has not yet scored a Fulham goal, but he was just inches away there. He ran onto Lookman’s pass and struck a brilliant first-time effort to the top-left corner but, with Pope beaten, the underside of the woodwork comes to Burnley’s rescue.
J. Rodriguez
M. Vydra
Burnley
67' There's also a Burnley substitution, with Vydra replaced by Rodriguez.
J. Onomah
B. De Cordova-Reid
Fulham
66' Another change for Fulham. De Cordova-Reid has made way, with Onomah coming on.
66' Well, the check is complete, and there will be no change in the decision. It would have been hard for Areola to move his arm out of the way, and seemingly the officials have deemed he did not have time to react.
65' What a mix up from Fulham! A long ball catches the hosts cold and Vydra is on to it in a flash. Areola had rushed out of his goal and Vydra’s header strikes his arm. No for was awarded, but this will be checked by VAR.
64' More shouts for a spot-kick from the Fulham players, with Taylor having dived in on Cavaleiro. The referee was well placed, though, and VAR quickly checks the decision and stands by it.
63' Appeals for a penalty from Fulham, as Lookman stays on his feet despite a lunge from Tarkowski. VAR looks at it again, but the replays show that the defender just managed to pull out in time.
61' Burnley are simply inviting Fulham to throw crosses into the box, but that suits the visitors’ defence perfectly, and Pope is able to gather the latest attempt – from Robinson – with ease.
59' CLOSE! A cross from De Cordova Reid drops onto the head of Mitrovic, who tries to glance one into the top corner. For a moment, it looks as though he managed to do just that, but the ball nestles into the side netting.
58' Fulham are on the front foot, but Burnley’s defence really has not been tested too much so far. From a corner on the right, Mitrovic directs a powerful header at goal, but it was not to fool Pope, who is well placed to hold on.
56' Now in a wing-back role, Cavaleiro has space out on the right and floats in a cross to the back post, but Mitrovic never looked likely to get there ahead of Pope.
J. Maja
K. Tete
Fulham
54' Parker makes the first change of the game. Tete is off, with Maja coming on, which would suggest a change in shape for the hosts, to a 3-4-3.
53' A rather unconvincing punch from Pope falls to Lemina on the edge of Burnley’s box. The Southampton loanee sets himself before losing to bend a low strike towards the right-hand corner, but it is easily blocked.
52' Lowton will be fine to continue, and play restarts. Moments later, Tarkowski is lucky not to be booked for a foul on De Cordova Reid.
50' Lowton has got a knock and will need some treatment, after what was a heavy challenge from Lemina, who was fortunate to escape without even conceding a free-kick.
48' Burnley have scored two or more first half goals in five of their last seven Premier League games – as many as in their previous 100 matches in the competition.
46' The second half is up and running. Can Fulham pull off a miracle to keep themselves in the scrap for survival?
A massive team talk is needed from Parker, but in all truth, the odds look stacked against his side. After all, Fulham have only managed three goals across their last 11 league games.
It’s looking grim for Fulham, with Burnley scoring twice in the space of nine minutes to take a commanding lead at Craven Cottage, and putting themselves firmly in the box seat to avoid the drop and relegate their opponents. Westwood got the opener, with Wood slamming in a fantastic second.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: FULHAM 0-2 BURNLEY.
45' + 1' Almost another! Wood turns provider as he lays it off for his strike partner Vydra, whose powerful strike soars just over the bar.
J. Brownhill
Assist
Burnley
44' Brownhill gets the assist, with a tidy touch into Wood’s path, but all the credit goes to Burnley’s number nine.
C. Wood
Goal
Burnley
44' GOOOALLLL!!! Is that game over, and lights out for Fulham? It’s 2-0 Burnley after Wood crashed a brilliant strike beyond Areola and into the top-right corner. His flick started the move, with the rebound falling to Brownhill, who teed up the New Zealand striker for his 50th Burnley goal.
41' CLOSE! A good effort from Vydra, who once again spun in behind Fulham’s defence and this time elected to go for goal himself. He gets plenty of power on his half-volley, but it flashes across the face of goal and out of play.
A. Zambo Anguissa
Yellow Card
Fulham
40' Anguissa has picked up a booking, having caught Westwood on the follow through.
39' Indeed, when conceding first in Premier League matches since January 2019, Fulham have failed to win any of the 26 such games, losing 25 of them.
37' So, as it stands, Fulham are heading down, and Burnley are securing their Premier League survival. There is, of course, plenty of time remaining in this match, but things need to change quickly for the Cottagers.
M. Vydra
Assist
Burnley
35' It was a fantastic run from Vydra, who got the better of Andersen and, this time, managed to keep the ball in as he got to the byline.
A. Westwood
Goal
Burnley
35' GOAL! BURNLEY TAKE THE LEAD! What a blow that is for Fulham. They were caught out by one long ball, with Vydra racing in behind and squaring for the onrushing Westwood, who got ahead of Robinson to slot into an empty net. It’s 1-0 to Burnley!
33' Another chance! Wood wins the header from the following corner, and his effort very nearly trickles over the line, but a combination of defenders just manage to turn it around the post.
31' CLOSE! A cross from the left finds Wood, who stops to head it goalwards. Areola looked set to be beaten, but Adarabioyo is in the way and deflects the effort just wide.
28' Fulham switch it from left to right, with a good dummy run from Tete enabling Cavaleiro to cut in on his left foot and aim for the bottom-right corner. His strike is well hit, but Pope had judged it right.
27' It has been, as you might expect, a scrappy affair so far. Burnley are staying compact, channelling Fulham’s attacks down the flanks, and preventing Anguissa from having as much influence as he was in the early stages.
25' Fulham are trying to find Mitrovic with crosses, but the deliveries are not up to scratch, and Tarkowski and Mee are having little trouble in dealing with them.
23' Fulham have won eight of their last nine home league meetings with Burnley, with the only blip in that run a 2-3 loss in March 2016 in the Championship. How they need to keep that run up today...
22' Burnley started to threaten now. Brownhill’s cross is headed back towards Vydra by Wood, but Adarabioyo gets back to make a crucial clearance.
20' NO GOAL! Burnley have the ball in the net, but it won’t count. Vydra had got the best of his marker, spinning into the area down by the byline to square for Wood, who tucked home, but the ball had clearly left the field of play.
17' Parker will have been furious had that foul cost his side, and it could well have done. McNeil’s free-kick was met by Mee, but his header floated to Areola.
16' What a daft decision by Mitrovic! From the resulting free-kick, the striker hauls down Tarkowski, handing Burnley a set-piece 30 yards out.
15' Burnley break after defending a Fulham free-kick, and Lemina decides to take evasive action by scything down Westwood.
13' CHANCE! Anguissa has made an impressive start, and he opens up the pitch with a perfectly weighted, lofted pass into De Cordova-Reid. His first-time volley is directed towards Lookman, but Tarkowski does brilliantly to get there first, with Lookman then only able to head over when Fulham keep the move alive.
11' Since winning 1-0 at Liverpool to go level on points with Brighton in 17th, Fulham have picked up just one point from their last 18 available in the Premier League (W0 D1 L5).
8' Fulham, as they have to, are certainly looking to throw men forward at every opportunity. They have plenty of pace and power, but can they find the cutting edge they have desperately lacked this season?
6' Good effort! Another neat team move sees Anguissa stride forward and then cut in from the left. Skirting around the edge of the box, the powerful midfielder gets off a shot, but Pope watches it safely into his hands.
4' A tidy move from Fulham sees Lemina slice through Burnley’s defence with a great ball into Lookman, whose cross is just behind Cavaleiro, who fails to take it in. The offside flag, however, is subsequently raised.
3' Dyche is taking charge of his 350th league game with Burnley while Mee is also making his 350th appearance for the Clarets in all competition
2' Burnley are right onto the front foot, putting Fulham under pressure with a ball into the area. The hosts fail to clear their lines at the first attempt, with Brownhill keeping it alive, but Parker’s team manage to scramble it away from danger at the second time of asking.
1' KICK-OFF! We are up and running in this vital match!
West Brom had their fate sealed on Sunday, and Sheffield United were relegated some time ago. Can Parker manage to keep Fulham’s hopes alive? The teams are out, and we’re moments away from kick-off in west London.
Burnley are not exactly in flying form, with the Clarets losing four of their last five, including their latest fixture, against West Ham last Monday. However, Sean Dyche has stuck with the same team that went down 2-1 at Turf Moor.
BURNLEY SUBS: Johann Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Dale Stephens, Jay Rodriguez, Erik Pieters, Will Norris, Phil Bardsley, Jimmy Dunne.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Nick Pope; Matthew Lowton, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor; Josh Brownhill, Ashley Westwood, Jack Cork, Dwight McNeil; Matej Vydra, Chris Wood.
Fulham lost 2-0 to Chelsea last time out, and Parker has made two changes to his team. In come Mitrovic and Tete, replacing Maja and Aina respectively.
FULHAM SUBS: Micheal Hector, Marek Rodak; Tim Ream; Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Joe Bryan, Josh Onomah, Josh Maja, Ola Aina, Fabio Carvalho.
FULHAM (4-2-3-1): Alphonse Areola; Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Antonee Robinson; Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Mario Lemina; Ivan Cavaleiro, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Ademola Lookman; Aleksandar Mitrovic.
A draw would make it an even harder task for Fulham, but should Burnley come out on top, then the Cottagers’ immediate return to the Championship will be sealed, and the Clarets, along with Newcastle United, Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion, would be ensured of their Premier League status.
It’s all but win or bust for Fulham. Should they take the three points, they would move within six of safety with three games remaining, but time is running out for Scott Parker’s side.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of what is a crucial clash at the bottom of the Premier League, as Fulham welcome Burnley to Craven Cottage.
