Commentary

It's a frustrating afternoon for both Palace and Fulham then, especially Fulham who remain three points from safety. In the end both sides will take the point and move on. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Palace stay 13th with this point. The hosts were pretty stale in this game. Playing this way will surely keep them out of trouble but this is their eighth season in the Premier League now. Is it wrong to want more from them? Fulham are seven games unbeaten away from home now, a record for them. They're still 18th though. Parker will really want his side to start turning more of these draws into wins.
Fulham will look at this as two points dropped. Scott Parker's team had by far the better chances to find a winner with Scott Parker making some positive substitutions late on. However, they were unable to find a way past a typically stubborn Crystal Palace. It ends goalless.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 FULHAM
90' + 3' Palace push towards the halfway line. Guaita booms the goal-kick forward and that's that!
90' + 2' Fulham get another chance to snatch the win late on! Cavaleiro crosses with his right foot and finds Maja who's got away from Cahill in the box. Maja snatches at it and rolls his effort wide of the right-hand post. Cahill is furious with himself.
90' + 1' Lookman sends the free-kick in from the left and Adarabioyo can't get his header on target. There'll be three minutes of additional time.
89' Fulham are desperately searching for a winner. Kouyate bundles over Robinson and the visitors have a chance to score which could prove crucial at the bottom of the table.
88' Chance for Fulham! Reed spots Lookman in space to the left of the box, catching Townsend out. Lookman curls a first-time volley towards the far post but it bounces harmlessly wide. The winger had time to take a touch there. Maybe he should have done.
86' Cahill makes another fantastic block to deny Maja who unexpectedly finds time in the box. The 35-year-old has been rolling back the years with his performance here.
84' The clock is ticking for Fulham. A draw wouldn't be a bad result at all but they really need a few more wins to boost their chances of staying up.
A. Robinson
Yellow Card
83' Ayew draws Robinson into fouling him high up the pitch. Robinson gets a yellow card.
82' Townsend takes on Robinson and passes inside to Riedewald. The Dutchman's touch is poor but he still manages to get a throw out of it. Palace are growing in confidence.
80' Palace force a corner down their right, their first of the game. Benteke rises and heads it back across goal but it's nodded away by Andersen.
J. McCarthy
E. Eze
79' Here's that Palace substitution. Fulham haven't allowed Eze space all game but he'll learn from the experience. The 22-year-old is replaced by McCarthy.
78' Palace look to have weathered the storm for now. Ayew wins a free-kick down Palace's left as he's unfairly challenged by Tete. Palace will make a change.
76' Cavaleiro drifts another cross in the direction of Mitrovic. The Serbian gets ahead of Ward but can't quite pick it out of the air. Palace get a goal-kick.
75' Loftus-Cheek fires in a cross for Mitrovic who keeps it in play down the left for Fulham. The visitors lose possession though and Palace try to counter through Townsend but Robinson has him shackled.
74' Lookman holds off a challenge to keep Fulham moving. Cavaleiro drives inside from the right and drags his shot horribly wide.
A. Mitrović
A. Zambo Anguissa
73' Fulham know they can win this and make another attacking change. Mitrovic replaces Anguissa to join Maja and Loftus-Cheek up front.
71' Fulham keep on coming. Cavaleiro chests a direct pass down for Loftus-Cheek whose ripper of a volley swerves just wide to the right.
69' Fulham get a corner off Milivojevic. Adarabioyo flicks it on to Andersen and Cahill makes a crucial block to stop the Dane's header. The game has well and truly woken up now.
67' Chance for Fulham! Guaita denies Maja to keep Palace in it! Cavaleiro curls in a fabulous left-footed cross from the right and Maja gets between the two centre-backs in the centre of the box. Maja powers a header towards goal but Guaita saves it at point-blank range.
Ivan Cavaleiro
B. De Cordova-Reid
66' Fulham make another substitution. Cavaleiro comes ojn for De Cordova-Reid, who's faded in this half.
65' Fulham enjoy their best chance of the game so far as Loftus-Cheek lays off first time to Maja. Maja takes a touch on the edge of the box and fires towards the bottom left corner. It bounces just wide.
64' Townsend swings the free-kick towards the far post but Kouyate is unable to get on the end of it. Down on the touchline, Hodgson looks like he wants to put his own head on it. Now that we'd pay to see.
62' Riedewald's decent pass looks to set free van Aanholt in the box. Tete wins the header. Tete slides in to bring down Ayew shortly after as the Ghanaian darts inside from the left.
61' Palace have a rare chance to attack with Townsend crossing in but Benteke's movement up front is minimal. It's disappointing for the hosts.
60' Palace's midfielders are having very little effect on the game at the moment. Eze in particular has been quiet.
58' Loftus-Cheek bends a shot towards the bottom left corner with his weaker left foot. Guaita gets down to save it but Fulham are giving the Palace keeper more to do now.
57' Andersen sweeps a pass wide left to Lookman whose first-time cross is brilliant. Unfortunately for Fulham Maja's not in the box to make the most of it.
56' The free-kick's central but quite a way from goal. Interestingly, Andersen fancies this. The Dane steps up to take it, sending Guaita the wrong way but swishing it wide of the left-hand post.
L. Milivojević
Yellow Card
55' Loftus-Cheek cleverly dummies a pass to take Ayew out of the game and draws Milivojevic into the tackle. Milivojevic gets the game's first yellow card for the foul.
54' Lookman swings in and it's cleared by Townsend at the near post. Palace can't entirely get out though and Guaita claims Andersen's tame effort from range.
53' De Cordova-Reid and Tete combine again and force the corner kick. Fulham are stepping up a gear.
51' Lookman takes on Ward down the left and gets the free-kick. Lookman takes it and finds Adarabioyo who flicks it towards Guaita with his back to goal. It's a comfortable save for the Palace goalkeeper.
49' Fulham continue to try to force the issue as De Cordova-Reid's cross from the right is headed out by Ayew. Benteke beats Adarabioyo to the ball and looks to head towards goal but Fulham's centre-back recovers well to stop the attack.
48' Palace have managed just five shots in their last 135 minutes of Premier League action. It's the way they play, of course, but you sometimes wish they'd be more fun.
46' Maja has an ambitious shot from deep on the right as he spots Guaita off his line. Luckily for the Palace keeper the effort's always heading wide.
46' The second half gets underway. Hodgson resists making changes to Palace for now.
A. Robinson
O. Aina
46' Fulham make a tactical change at half-time. The American international Robinson replaces Aina at left-back. Presumably that's to give Lookman more support down the flank and try to force Townsend back.
There were a whopping four shots in that first half, two for each side with none on target. Fulham have looked most likely to score from corners with Andersen twice getting the better of Kouyate. If Fulham can force a few more situations like that they might find some joy.
Let's be honest. This hasn't been a great game so far with Fulham and Crystal Palace cancelling each other out. Fulham have had a few half-chances through some clever set-pieces, and Townsend has looked promising for Palace. Apart from that it's been slim pickings in an attacking sense.
45' HALF-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 FULHAM
45' In comes the free-kick. Cahill wins the header but Tete makes sure it doesn't worry Areola. That'll be that for now.
44' Townsend turns on the pace and forces Anguissa to take him out. Anguissa lands awkwardly but thankfully looks to be OK. Palace have a free-kick on the brink of half-time.
43' Adarabioyo booms a direct pass forward to no one in particular. It's been a cagey first half but Fulham will probably be the happier with how it's been going.
41' Cahill pings a fantastic pass out wide to Ward. Townsend fires in a dangerous cross which Areola reads well to claim comfortably.
39' Townsend finds Eze who tries to wriggle through the middle but is prevented from doing so. Fulham almost got caught out there.
37' Milivojevic challenges De Cordova-Reid and gives the Fulham winger a scrape down his calf. It's another foul. Palace's Serbian enforcer isn't afraid of getting stuck in.
36' Tete wins yet another free-kick for Fulham down the right with Milivojevic his assailant. This time Lookman's ball in is headed away by Benteke.
35' Andersen heads over again from Lookman's cross as Adarabioyo's run again takes Cahill out of the equation. Palace have been warned.
34' Tete buys a foul off Ayew as he tries to get past the Palace man near the corner flag. Lookman is standing over the free-kick.
32' Lookman's corner is sent towards Andersen who beats Kouyate in the air. The Fulham captain's header loops wide. That was cleverly worked by Fulham whose off-the-ball runs created space for Andersen.
31' Anguissa rolls the ball out wide to Tete who takes on his opposite number van Aanholt. The Palace left-back slides in to hand Fulham the first corner of the game.
30' Fulham have been comfortable in possession but haven't tested Guaita yet. Lookman tries to find the run of Loftus-Cheek with a round-the-corner pass but it's blocked by Ward.
28' Townsend's bundled over as he tries to squeeze between Reed and Aina. The winger, who has 13 caps for England, has been Palace's brightest player in this opening half hour.
27' Ward passes inside to Townsend who teases Aina and crosses in. Townsend's ball in is delightful and Andersen gets an important touch to divert it to Areola with Benteke and Ayew lurking.
25' Loftus-Cheek, who's yet to really influence proceedings, floats a pass over the top for De Cordova-Reid but it's cut out. Fulham have had 59 per cent possession of the ball so far.
24' Reed's pass is intercepted by Riedewald but Reed redeems himself quickly with a great sliding challenge on the Dutchman. The Fulham midfielder ends up getting the free-kick.
22' Now Fulham will get the chance to put the ball into Palace's box as Ayew brings down Tete. It's lofted towards De Cordova-Reid but Milivojevic reads the situation well.
20' Van Aanholt sends the free-kick in and Fulham clear. Fulham earn a throw-in and Parker throws it quickly to his player to keep his team moving.
19' Palace get a free-kick in midfield as Cahill's clipped by the red-headed Reed. Van Aanholt is eyeing it up.
17' So far Palace haven't been tempted to take the game to Fulham, preferring to wait for their visitors to come on to them. Cahill makes a fine challenge to dispossess De Cordova-Reid down Palace's left where Tete isn't afraid to join the attack.
16' Fulham have made a steady start to the game. It's not making for the best spectacle so far but they'll be happy with how they've handled the first 15 minutes.
14' Fulham force Palace to hand the ball over and look to get forward. Tete passes inside for De Cordova-Reid. Cahill is on hand to tidy up.
12' Ward takes a throw from Palace from the right. The offside flag ends up going up against Eze.
11' Lookman presses Ward high up the pitch and ends up conceding a foul. It's over-eager from Lookman but positive for Fulham, who look sprightly.
10' Palace are vaguely threatening Fulham without really getting anywhere. Parker has done a magnificent job of tightening Fulham up at the back since the start of the season.
8' Ayew shifts onto his favoured right foot and dips a cross into the box for Benteke on the run. Benteke's heading away from goal and can't do very much with it.
7' Adarabioyo whacks the ball forward from the back and Palace clear it up. Palace will be quite content to attack their visitors on the break.
6' Fulham are seeing plenty of the ball early on. Tete plays a one-two with De Cordova-Reid to get into the box but Riedewald gets across to stop his fellow Dutchman's run.
5' Van Aanholt switches the play to Townsend who fires in a cross. It lands to Milivojevic whose drive from outside the box is blocked.
4' De Cordova-Reid sends the ball high into the box and Ward misses the header. It briefly looks like Fulham will get a shot but Palace manage to clear.
3' Both teams are still finding their rhythm. Tete knocks a pass down the line for De Cordova-Reid whose cross is blocked.
1' And we're off! It looks like Palace are playing a 4-2-3-1 with Eze behind Benteke.
The two sides are out on the pitch at a sunny Selhurst Park. Palace are in their Barcelona-inspired red and blue stripes. Fulham are wearing a pristine all-white kit.
Palace have won their last three Premier League games against Fulham. However, Fulham have never previously lost four league games in a row against the Eagles. The Cottagers' last win over Palace was a 4-1 win back in October 2013. No doubt Parker and his team would love a similar result here.
Palace make two changes from their victory over Brighton as van Aanholt and Benteke start ahead of Mitchell and Mateta. They've still got a hefty injury list as they name only eight substitutes on the bench. There are also two changes to Fulham from their 1-0 win over Sheffield United. Tete and De Cordova-Reid come in.

Palace's visitors today are fellow Londoners Fulham who have given themselves a chance of Premier League survival in recent weeks. Scott Parker's team have won two of their last three league matches, as many as they did in their previous 24, and are unbeaten in six games on the road. They're winless in their last 20 London derbies though. Let's see what happens!
Crystal Palace are doing what Crystal Palace do under Roy Hodgson. The Eagles got a handy away 2-1 victory against Brighton and Hove Albion last time out in the Premier League despite having just three shots and 25.5 per cent possession. It's not exactly inspiring but it's enough to stay up and that's good enough for Palace for now.
