UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

Bournemouth will go into the festive period with confidence - they'll end the year with away trips to Tottenham and Man Utd. Brighton will hope to have more luck in their home games against Arsenal and Everton. That's all for now. Goodbye!
That win leaves Bournemouth in eighth place for now - they'll celebrate Christmas in the top half of the table with the woes of recent weeks behind them. Brighton lie in 13th, although their gap to the teams below them is cut to three points after Crystal Palace's surprising win away to Man City.
Bournemouth get back to winning ways after a difficult few weeks while Brighton's away woes continue. Brighton just edged the first half, forcing Begovic into some smart saves, but Bournemouth got the win thanks to two great goals by their young midfielder Brooks. Brighton were timid in the second half and weren't helped by Dunk's loss of discipline at the end, even if his initial yellow card was puzzling.
90' + 3' It's been confirmed that Dunk did receive his first yellow card for a foul on Brooks, not for dissent. No doubt that'll be a topic for debate after the game.
J. Ibe
D. Brooks
90' + 2' Brooks gets a deserved standing ovation for his outstanding afternoon. He'll be replaced by Ibe for the final few minutes.
90' + 1' The Vitality Stadium crowd are cheering every Bournemouth touch now. Brighton look too dejected to try to win the ball.
89' Bournemouth want that third goal - their great record against Brighton is going to continue. There will be four minutes of added time to finish this game off.
87' Brighton's only ambition now is for the scoreline not to get worse. They really are less worrying opponents when they're playing away from home.
L. Mousset
J. King
86' King gets the ball from Wilson and fires a shot over the bar in what will be his last act of the game. He's replaced by Mousset. It's been a quiet afternoon for the Norwegian striker. Thankfully his teammates have done the job for him.
83' Fraser pulls up after Montoya accidentally treads on his foot. Bournemouth know this match is won.
81' From the free-kick, Fraser finds Daniels who attempts to replicate his famous goal against Manchester City last season. This shot is less powerful though and Ryan comfortably saves.
G. Murray
F. Andone
80' Before it's taken, Brighton make their final sub - Murray comes on for Andone. It seems like too little, too late.
79' That second goal may have guaranteed Bournemouth the victory but the Cherries are looking for more. Cook wins a free-kick on their right after a Bissouma foul.
R. Fraser
77' Fraser's cross for that goal really was delicious. Brighton probably want the game to be over now.
D. Brooks
77' GOAL! 2-0 Bournemouth, and that will be that. Fraser picks the ball up on the left and delivers a right-footed in-swinging cross. Brooks ghosts in to loops a lovely header over the head of Ryan and into the far corner of the net. What a talent this young man looks to be.
76' Looking back at Dunk's first yellow card, it does look like Bissouma should have been the one to be booked. Nevertheless, his decision to dive in for his second yellow was silly.
G. Bong
P. Groß
76' Brighton eventually make the change - Gross off, Bong on.
74' That red card throws all of Brighton's plans out the window - Murray was set to come on for Gross.
L. Dunk
Yellow 2nd/RC
73' Dunk receives his marching orders for a late challenge on Wilson - that's a second yellow card for him and he's off! Brighton are down to ten men. Suddenly their task looks much harder.
72' King tries to beat Brighton's defence by himself and fails. Knockaert looks for Andone but can't find his team-mate either. Bournemouth look assured right now.
70' Bernardo steams forward but overcooks his cross, losing Brighton some precious momentum. Bissouma hits a shot into the ground, taking the sting off it, and it pops up for Begovic to claim.
A. Knockaert
J. Locadia
70' Brighton make their first change. Locadia off. Knockaert on.
69' Bournemouth are looking for that second goal. Surman finds space for a shot outside the box but the Englishman's effort is high and wide.
67' Bissouma tumbles over while he tussles with Francis. The Malian rubs his lower back and goes off the pitch temporarily while Bournemouth have a corner. Ryan collects with ease.
R. Fraser
J. Stanislas
65' Fraser replaces Stanislas for Bournemouth.
64' Andone shows Francis a clean pair of heels but is stunned when Bournemouth are given a goal-kick. Bournemouth will make the first change of the game.
63' Stanislas goes for goal from the central free-kick but Ryan watches the Bournemouth player's effort curl wide.
L. Dunk
Yellow Card
62' Brooks uses his pace to burst through the midfield and finds Wilson but the Welshman is brought down from behind by Bissouma as he does so. Play stops and strangely, it's Dunk who's booked. Bournemouth might have preferred the referee to play advantage there.
61' Brighton still have it for now. March almost tricks his way past Daniels but is pushed back slightly. Montoya's cross is cleared by Cook.
60' Brighton win back the ball. Hughton looks to be discussing potential changes with his assistants on the touchline. Murray and Knockaert are warming up.
59' March again angles the ball towards the far post but King gets the ball away for Bournemouth and the Cherries head forward. Brooks, who looks Bournemouth's most creative player, wins his team a throw on the right.
57' Gross whips his corner towards the far post for Brighton. Begovic gets his fingertips onto it and March steps up to have a try from the other side of the pitch.
56' March is accidentally tripped by Daniels as the Brighton winger looks to latch onto a pass. Brighton's free-kick eventually turns into a Brighton corner.
55' Montoya lofts a cross straight into the arms of Begovic. It's not a subtle tactic by Brighton but it might work.
54' Bournemouth maintain the pressure - it's yet another corner to them. This time it causes some minor panic in Brighton's penalty area but the Cherries can't create a clear shooting opportunity. The visitors come away with the ball and venture upfield.
53' It's another short corner and Stanislas' eventual delivery is disappointing. Andone is penalised up the other end of the pitch for making his presence a little too felt.
52' Daniels toys with Montoya before passing back to Stanislas. The ball finds its way to Brooks whose cross is seen out by Balogun's sliding block. Bournemouth corner.
51' Brooks takes the corner short to Surman. Bournemouth keep Brighton pinned into their defensive third until King overcooks a pass to Daniels. Brighton goal-kick.
49' Bournemouth are looking to defend their lead and play on the counter. The Cherries win a corner after Bissouma blocks a shot and the ball loops over the bar.
48' The aerial approach might work for Brighton. This time Montoya's cross connects with the head of Andone, whose header forces Begovic into a save. The Romanian's offside though.
47' Brighton start the second half on the front foot as Montoya launches a cross towards Locadia at the far post. Bournemouth clear but the ball finds its way back to the Brighton full-back. His second attempt bounces out for a throw.
46' Brighton get the second half started. Can they find an equaliser here?
Brighton's best chance of a goal in the second half might come from a set-piece. Of the seven away goals that the Seagulls have scored this season, four have come from their centre-backs Duffy and Dunk. The latter certainly had their biggest chance in the first 45 minutes.
Both sets of fans can be pleased enough with their teams' first halves. Bournemouth lead thanks to young Welshman Brooks' marvellous strike, but their keeper Begovic has been the busier of the two. Brighton will feel they can get back into this game.
45' + 1' This corner isn't particularly good either. Down the other end, Francis prevents Andone from getting through on goal.
45' Now it's Bournemouth's turn to win a corner after Balogun stops Francis' ball from reaching Ake at the far post. There will be two added minutes here.
44' Great work by Begovic again! Dunk, up from centre-back for Brighton, glances a header towards goal from the free-kick and Begovic tips it behind for a corner. The keeper then claims the corner comfortably.
D. Brooks
Yellow Card
43' Wilson concedes a free-kick for pressing over-zealously and Brooks is booked for standing over the ball and delaying the free-kick.
41' Brighton get another attempt on goal which is blocked. Andone appears to be struggling from crashing into the advertising board earlier.
39' Gross cuts a cross back for Bissouma, who shoots but his effort hits his own player Locadia. The referee penalises Locadia for handball.
38' Brighton put a little pressure on, pinning Bournemouth back. Strangely, the Seagulls then retreat into their own half with the ball. They eventually angle a ball for Andone right down the touchline, who strains and fails to keep it in play.
37' Brooks is limping a little but is soldiering on for now. He's switched to Bournemouth's left wing for the time being.
36' Gross grabs Lerma's arm as the Bournemouth midfielder looks for a pass. Bournemouth free-kick. Seconds later, Locadia angles a through-ball to absolutely no-one.
34' Ryan's long clearances are a little inconsistent. This time the ball drops out of play, handing Bournemouth a throw-in.
32' Andone finds himself with the ball wide on the right. The Romanian reaches the goal-line and attempts to cut the ball back but there's no one from Brighton there.
J. Lerma
Yellow Card
31' Stanislas takes the corner short for Bournemouth. Unfortunately it's woeful and Andone looks to break upfield. Lerma is booked for barging him over. Clumsy but effective.
30' Surman attempts to find Brooks, drifting in front of the Brighton defence, but it's cut out. March concedes a corner after King lofts a ball towards an arriving Daniels.
29' This is a quietly enthralling game with lots of individual battles all over the pitch. Bernardo and Brooks are the latest to tussle out wide.
27' Gross whips a ball across Bournemouth's box looking for Locadia at the far post but Francis arrives just in time to hook the ball out of the Dutchman's reach. Great defending.
26' Bournemouth win a free-kick after Montoya halts Stanislas on the flank.
25' Andone has been relatively quiet so far. Brighton are trying to build attacks but Bournemouth look fairly comfortable for now.
23' A direct ball finds Wilson up front. He teases Brighton's centre-backs and hammers the ball home, but he's offside anyway.
J. King
21' King did well to set that play up, but the goal was all Brooks. What a finish by the young midfielder. He's made a strong start to his Bournemouth career.
D. Brooks
21' WHAT A GOAL! 1-0 Bournemouth! Brooks jinks through the centre of Brighton's midfield, reaching the outside of the penalty area before lashing the ball across Ryan into the net.
20' Brighton's corner is abject. The Bournemouth fans inevitably cheer.
18' Locadia angles a ball wide right to March who drives infield and returns the favour. Begovic dives low at his left post to keep out Locadia's powerful effort. Brighton corner.
16' Brighton cling on for now! Brooks's slide-rule pass finds Wilson who's beaten Brighton's offside trap. Instead of shooting, he crosses towards King and Balogun slides in to block. Brighton eventually manage to smuggle the ball clear.
15' Bournemouth are playing a clear 4-4-2 now. Begovic bides his time and rolls the ball to Ake, who sees the ball upfield as coolly as ever.
14' Surman sets Francis free down the right for Bournemouth. The right-back delivers a high first-time ball into the area for Wilson, whose header bounces just wide of goal.
13' March strides up to take the free-kick but he scoops his left-footed shot over the bar. Poor effort.
12' Bissouma is at the centre of the action again, winning a free-kick on the edge of Bournemouth's penalty area. Brighton have been dominant so far.
11' Chance for Brighton! Bissouma initiates a nice little give-and-go and powers into the area, forcing a smart save from Begovic.
9' The Bournemouth fans are up in arms after Brooks backs into a header with Bernardo from another Ryan long ball. Bernando wins it - no foul. Brooks stays down a little while, rubbing his head. That must have stung.
8' Andone wins the ball for Brighton, allowing them to get a foothold in midfield. Bournemouth are having to be patient here. They win a free-kick in the centre of the park.
7' Ryan slows the play down, looking for a team-mate up front. Bournemouth's centre-backs head the ball straight back to Brighton's defenders.
6' It's a frantic start to the game with neither side getting much control of the ball. Bissouma unleashes a shot from range that fizzes back across goal but it's no threat to Begovic.
5' Brighton pass it around at the back, forcing Ryan to hoof it long. The Seagulls soon lose the ball to Bournemouth, who don't keep it for long either.
3' Bournemouth win a free-kick after Stanislas is brought down on the edge of Brighton's area by Balogun. Stanislas goes for goal but his shot whistles over.
2' It looks as though Andone is up front for Brighton; Locadia is on the left wing while March is on the right. Gross tries to string a pass through for the Romanian but it rolls safely to Begovic in the Bournemouth goal.
1' Bournemouth get the 103rd meeting of these two clubs underway!
No away strips needed today - Bournemouth will play in their usual red and black stripes, while Brighton look resplendent in their blue and white home kit.
Bournemouth will be confident of a win today, given that they have something of a hoodoo over Brighton - they are unbeaten against the Seagulls in nine matches dating back to a 2-3 loss in January 2008 when both sides were in the third tier.
Howe makes five changes from his side's late defeat to Chelsea in the EFL Cup earlier this week. Francis, Surman, Lerma, King and Begovic all return to the starting line-up; Wilson continues up front. Brighton change three players from their own loss to Chelsea last weekend - Bissouma and Andone start, while boss Chris Hughton names Locadia as striker over the Seagulls' top scorer Murray.
BRIGHTON SUBS: Anthony Knockaert, Dale Stephens, Gaëtan Bong, Beram Kayal, Bruno, Jason Steele, Glenn Murray.
BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION (4-4-1-1): Mat Ryan; Martin Montoya, Lewis Dunk (c), Leon Balogun, Bernardo; Florin Andone, Yves Bissouma, Davy Propper, Solly March; Pascal Gross; Jurgen Locadia.
BOURNEMOUTH SUBS:  Jordon Ibe, Diego Rico, Lys Mousset, Tyrone Mings, Jermain Defoe, Ryan Fraser, Artur Boruc.
BOURNEMOUTH (3-5-2): Asmir Begovic; Steve Cook, Simon Francis (c), Nathan Aké; Junior Stanislas, Andrew Surman, Jefferson Lerma, David Brooks, Charlie Daniels; Callum Wilson, Joshua King.
Luckily for Bournemouth, their visitors today are Brighton and Hove Albion who are not exactly known for their prowess away from home. The Cherries are unbeaten at home this season against teams outside the top six - will they maintain that record, or will the Seagulls manage to keep it tight and come away with a result?
It's been a tough few weeks for Bournemouth. After a very positive start to the season Eddie Howe's men have slumped of late, losing six of their last seven Premier League games and dropping to 11th in the table. While that run may have included games against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, it still isn't good for morale. They'll be hoping to get some cheer back just in time for the hectic Christmas period.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today's Premier League match between Bournemouth and Brighton and Hove Albion at the Vitality Stadium.
