    Great performance from Zungu, who was able to have a greater influence on the Bafana attack from a central role - combing well with his former Mamelodi Sundowns teammates Percy Tau, Keagan Dolly and Themba Zwane.

    Strong tackles and relentless effort as usual by the workaholic and he was able to push forward which saw him grab an assist when Zwane made it 1-1.

    Worked hard in attack providing energy and leadership, while combining well with Tau, Dolly and Zwane, but he did not take his chances in the final third.

    The speedy winger was a big threat to the Sao Tome defence in the first-half, but he faded after that and he was replaced by Kermit Erasmus.

    Outstanding performance by Zwane, who impressed with his sharp passing, finishing and incisive runs which saw him grab a brace and an assist.

    A constant threat to the Sao Tome defence throughout the match - making incisive runs from the wings and centre which saw him grab two well-taken goals.

    Replaced Manyama in the 71st minute and helped Bafana get more of the ball in the final third and create many more chances for his side in the closing stages of the match.

    His speed and tricks caused problems for the Sao Tome defence after replacing Dolly and his shot forced Sao Tome keeper Aldair D'Almeida into a good save and Zwane scored from the rebound.
