Will you be splashing out on your club's new jersey?

As the new A-League season approaches, so to do the new jerseys as each team looks to catch the eye before even taking to the pitch.

Many clubs are referred to by their preferred colours, from the Sky Blues to the red and black, meaning the colour schemes of each are rarely all that surprising.

But as any designer or indeed football fan would know, it's all about the little details when it comes to a good football kit.

Here's what every A-League side will be wearing across the 2018/19 season.

  1. Adelaide United

The Reds will unsurprisingly be wearing a predominantly red home kit again this season with a white away jersey defined by red and black stripes.
  2. Brisbane Roar

    Brisbane Roar

The Roar will don a slick orange and black home kit this season, with an alternative grey kit also set to be used.

The stripes return with purpose on the Mariners latest home kit with the 14 lines a nod to the club's 14th A-League season, while the sash is back on a grey alternate kit.
  4. Melbourne City

    Melbourne City

It's much the same for City this season with the key addition being a striking graphite black third kit.
  5. Melbourne Victory

    Melbourne Victory

The reigning A-League champions will have a gold crest on their new home jersey to mark their latest triumph with a barcode style V raising a number of eyebrows. Their away kit meanwhile will be an updated version of their 2017/18 jersey.
  6. Newcastle Jets

    Newcastle Jets

It's business as usual for the Jets with a familiar but particularly sharp blue home kit. While their away jersey will pay homage to the Championship-winning 2007/08 strip with a white and gold combination. A third all black kit will also be used when needed.
  7. Perth Glory

    Perth Glory

The Glory will don another predominantly purple home kit this season and white away strip with purple sleeves.
  8. Sydney FC

    Sydney FC

The Sky Blues new Puma kit plays it pretty safe with the usual colour scheme, though a navy blue third kit is an interesting choice.
  9. Western Sydney Wanderers

    Western Sydney Wanderers

There's no surprise what colour the Wanderers new home kit will be, but it does catch the eye with its intriquing front-of-shirt stripes. Western Sydney will also be wearing a predominantly white away strip with a third kit yet to be revealed.
  10. Wellington Phoenix

    Wellington Phoenix

The Nix have stuck with their usual colours this season but have opted for more black in their home strip, while also giving their white away jersey black lines down the side.
