Zoo Kericho coach Sammy Okoth believes that they will pick themselves up from a defeat against Tusker when they take on Mathare United in the next game.

Zoo went down fighting against the Brewers, whom they beat 3-1 in the first leg thanks to a well-taken volley by Boniface Muchiri.

But Okoth remains upbeat that the team pickers will finally pick themselves up in the remaining seven matches.

Zoo are currently grappling with challenges in the striking force, but Okoth will probably draw strength from the fact that Nicholas Kipkurui will be returning from suspension.

“We created two chances in the first chance, but I think we were in a hurry that’s why we didn’t score,” the former Kenyan international noted.

Okoth, however, blamed the Sunday’s lose to concentration lapses: “We lost concentration in the second half. And that really cost us this match.”

Zoo remained 12th on the log with 34 points.
