Everything you need to know about the Tshwane Derby clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United

Mamelodi Sundowns will play host to arch-rivals SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby this coming weekend.

The Brazilians go into this encounter with a little bit disappointed following Wednesday's draw against Free State Stars, but Matsatsantsa need all the points on offer as they are still struggling for positive results.

With nine league games to go, Eric Tinkler's side will no doubt want to turn the tide and move up the ladder in an attempt to eventually finish in the Top 8.

United have won just once in their last six official matches, while Sundowns are enjoying a five-game unbeaten run. The last time Pitso Mosimane's charges tasted defeat was in January when they were battered by Orlando Pirates

The two Tshwane giants have met 35 times before, with Sundowns winning 20 and losing just nine of those games. The other six matches ended in draws.

Jeremy Brockie will get to face former employers, Matsatsantsa, for the first time since his departure to Chloorkop during the January transfer window.
