Goal's Chief Correspondent Peter Staunton used his Samsung device to let us in on exactly how he has been spending his time in France this month

The life of a journalist at any major international football tournament consists of long days and short nights, and UEFA EURO 2016 has been no different. chief correspondent Peter Staunton recently let us in on exactly how he’s been spending much of his time his France.

An early start kicked off with a trip across the city to quiz Wales coach Chris Coleman and Portugual’s Fernando Santos ahead of their semi-final clash in Lyon earlier this week.

With much of the focus on who would come out on top between Real Madrid team-mates Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, all the pre-match chatter proved a major event for the media.

So Peter was relieved to be equipped with his Samsung S7 on a day that demanded a lot from his device.

Not only did he capture all the video, audio and photos that he needed, but was able to send all the content back to his newsdesk and still make it home with 30% battery power remaining.
