Victor Wanyama summoned as Sebastien Migne names Kenya squad to face Ethiopia

Victor Wanyama has once again been included in Harambee Stars squad set to take on Ethiopia in an Afcon Qualifying match in October.

Wanyama had received a similar call for Kenya's last game against Ghana but the Tottenham midfielder failed to honour the summon, leaving coach Sebastien Migne fuming at the level of ‘unprofessionalism’ by his captain.

Despite the outburst by the Frenchman, Wanyama has been handed another chance to lead the country after he summoned 21 players including nine reserves, who will be on standby.

Kenya will take on Ethiopia on October 10 away before hosting the Walya Antelopes three days later in Nairobi. The squad is largely composed of players, who took part in the last two games against Ghana and Malawi, where Stars registered identical 1-0 victories.

Harambee Stars will first travel to Bahir Dar to face Ethiopia on October 10, before playing host three days later on October 14, 2018, at Kasarani.
